May I ask what happen if I lost my phone? Would it potentially compromised all security?

Assuming your phone is password protected no one would be able to access the Ring app. Although I would recommend using a different phone or PC to log onto your Ring account and change the password just as a precaution if you did lose your phone.

A better question would be how many thousands of dollars will Ring charge you to store your own video footage in the cloud? And why can't we store it locally if we wish too? Just like many vendors do? I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that one is free & the other option makes Ring a shed load of money.

@@MrJugNut I completely agree. I do however like the fact that my recordings are safely stored off-site. Once someone has been recorded on a Ring camera they have no way of deleting or stealing that recording (like they can with local storage solutions). Cloud recording does have it's advantages and to be fair to Ring most cloud storage over 5-15GB comes at a cost. Weather that be Dropbox, iCloud or Google Drive to name a few.

The reviewers are saying exactly what is says on the website oow I forgot to set the alarm, remote setting. I was worried about the cats setting it of oh look another word for word feature. What credibility you had these reviewers sorry actors were following a ring script. Soo fake

@@amos.m1286 it still had power but wasn't receiving any communication from any of the detectors so now have a traditional wired alarm system

The alarm is called a keypad and the hobby is basically called a siren

It's called the base station, not the Hobby or Siren, The Base station controls the entire system, it's kinda like the brains

Why are alarm manufacturers making alarm systems WITHOUT an outdoor siren? It's one of the most important features and deterrants there is to a would be thief!!

This alarm system has an outdoor siren but I have a verisure system... sadly. And it doesn't even have a bloody outdoor siren 😢
