It is very easy to install and it works very well, with a clear picture through the app and good in-home use (we added the chime, which is also easy to install and doesn't require another thought to use).

I just got my ring spotlight camera. But it spares my home network a lot. My internet speed is suck after I got ring installed. Does ring chime pro can help extend the ring wifi and make sure it won’t effect my internet use?

If your home internet is slow, it won’t change anything. This thing can be helpful when you have fast internet but reception is not good

The WiFi extender doesn’t work great I sent mine back, there seems to be really bad reviews for the extender, frustrating!

It has to be in between your Wi-Fi Router and the Ring Doorbell which could be why it wasn’t working correctly.

@@mactastic144 hi, I had it exactly inbetween, you can see the doorbell and router from the point just really didn’t change the strength, I even an an ASUS router , I get 70mbs WiFi even stood next to the ring doorbell however still no luck, ended up sending back the doorbell and extender which is a shame

@@mactastic144 yes I’ve done that and Connected it all up correctly I’m pretty switched on with connections and Ai Mesh which I have throughout the household, connected to WiFi manually not automatically, I’ve connected the chime to the doorbell and the chime to the WiFi and nothing so sent back, the reviews for the chime pro are really bad with respect to the WiFi extender , and the ring doorbell has old hardware so inherently a poor connection, sent the doorbell and chime back gave up in the end with it all

I got the chime 2nd gen pro today and i can not connect mine to my wifi spent over 4 hour's trying. It connects to it's own network but when you go back to the app to carry on it just starts to repeat itself saying connect to own wifi etc. Really annoying
