Hardwired is direct wire into the camera like how a lightbilb is wited by an electrician. Adaptor means you can plug it into a power outlet

What was forgotten about the floodlight Pro versus plus is the pro gives you the option to turn the light on or off which is very useful if you want to be out in your backyard in the evening and you choose to have the light on or off

Just bought a spotlight pro solar and am having an absolute nightmare keeping it connected to wifi. Its no more that 12 foot from the router and the rssi varies between -50 and -95 !
