I have the plugin model, I have no problems with it. Mounted 9 ft. Catches every thing. I must say I am quite impressed, put another one on the other side of my home... Good Buy imo.

How high did you mount it? I'm seeing the recommended is 9-10'. I'm looking to mount under the garage archway which is fairly low at about 6.5'. Reading that mounting lower will reduce the range of max motion detection distance of 30'. Yours looks low as well so wondering how low you mounted it? Seems it picked you up at about 10' away I believe you said. Thanks in advance.

It's about 7 feet up in the air. Seems to be a good height for picking up the whole area. Thanks for watching
