I realized I kept saying I reduced my air volume when I was talking about reducing my air pressure down from 240 psi to 225 psi. My bad. When I just reduced my pressure down to 225, that aligned with what the Trek Suspension calculator suggested based off my rider weight. With the Gen 6 Fuel, reviews said Trek fixed the previous bobbing issue that I felt with the Trek recommended settings on my Remedy. The 225 psi felt like I was getting a ton more grip and didn’t feel super harsh through chatter like when I had it at 240, which makes sense. I decided to try adding the medium size volume spacer vs the super small stock one to help prevent any bottom out while reducing the air pressure to make it more supple at the beginning of the stroke. I’m excited to see how this feels.
