He is a great bass, he just doesn't have the same gritty bass sound that defined Ringmasters.

@David Brown We love the original Ringmasters sound too, it was warm,rich and had a special power to it.Certainly the sound changed when the lead singer changed . The sound became brighter, the new bass blends well with that newer sound, but nothing beats RM’s mark one.

@@MoominJude I personally like Jakob on Lead instead of Tenor. It still sounded like Ringmasters. Martin's timbre was just much more important and Didier just has a very clean sound which isn't Ringmasters.

@David Brown , we will agree to disagree!! I preferred the original sound and think Jakob on lead did change that sound. They are so lucky as they have been able to swap parts and Rasmus is a great tenor. This new Ringmasters has a cleaner sound ,but I still love it. Their recent medley is a joy to behold.

I have grown to love this new line up. I wasn’t sure anything would be as good as the original group, but having watched the recent concert and listened to the new medley on KZbin, I think this is a truly great sound.

Sorry but I don´t understand 2 dislikes to this version. Guys are perfect. I know they have new bas member but I think he is very good and I like him the same like Martin. I know Martin was different but this guy is also perfect. Love Swedish musicians from Slovakia...
