It's been a while since I have hit that beach. It's never been boring always find all sorts of random stuff, things you wouldn't think would be on a beach. The chrome thing is gas tank vent off a boat its plastic on the back probably got broken off in the harbor and washed over to the beach. The Letherman tool is a great find should clean up fine. I need to get out of the valley and over to the bay but It looks like you keep every thing cleaned out.

@@MontereyMagnetMan I recently took a tour through the Denver mint and suggested that using a sacrificial metal (Zn) for a coin was pretty ridiculous. They switched because zinc was so much cheaper than copper, but apparently not so much today. Wish they would go with something better, or maybe go back to copper.

The Canadians solved their penny problem by getting rid of it. Purchase totals are rounded to the nearest nickel--up or down. They also solved their dollar bill problem by getting rid of that and going with a coin. They also have a two-dollar coin.
