I think the Secret fire is Eru Illuvatar the God of the Tolkien universe. Not sure but I think I heard or read that at some point.

Not really, the secret fire is the flame unperishable, it’s source is in Eru Illuvatar and is the power of creation, it’s the power of life that only Eru Illuvatar controls. That’s what actually made Melkor/Morgoth rebel against all the Ainur and Eru, he went trough the void amd never found the flame, he warred to create life in his image, but only Eru could, and then he disturbed the song of creation, eventually revolted, and that let to the wars that came, the war between the Valar and Morgoth and the wars in the years of the trees and the first age.

Minor, VERY minor credit to the writers. I really enjoyed everything with Celebrimbor and Sauron, but other than that they continued to struggle in almost every other plot line.
