I’m enjoying your reaction. I had a love/ hate relationship with Season 1, but Season 2 rocks! I still have more emotional investment in the balrog-Gandalf standoff, but this balrog is some of the best CG I’ve ever seen. I like that it’s less solid and more shadow and flame. I’ve wanted to smack King Durin for being an idiot over the ring, but he goes out like such a bad-ass: that shot where he leaps at the balrog gives me chills every time. I’m going to miss Celebrimbor and Adar. Adar was one of my favorite characters in Season 1, and, more even than Glug’s treachery, I hate that Adar’s last thoughts are probably on how he failed his orcs. I’m really glad they let Celembrimbor get the upper hand with Sauron. That “Shadow of Morgoth” insult is priceless. I want to see two things in Season 3: Celeborn coming back and Kemin’s ugly death. I wouldn’t mind if he got trampled by an Ent-wife, but I’d really like to see him taken out by Sauron. I’m really looking forward to seeing Sauron go after Pharazon, but that might not be until later in Season 3 or Season 4. I really like Celebrimbor and I felt sorry for him. I’m going to be cheering Sauron on when he goes after Pharazon and his flunkies. I hope we don’t have to wait too long for Season 3.

Lady Kima of Vord is a halfling paladin of Bahamut. Not your fault obviously, but I really wish people in comments would not say these things if they aren't 100% sure or don't double-check first because so many times commenters will say something that is just not correct.

I can understand why you would think Kima is a dwarf, she gives off those vibes in the show. However, she is in fact a very *jacked* halfling. So actually quite a bit larger than a gnome (not quite as big as a dwarf). I like that they had the two holy warriors (Pike the War Cleric and Kima the Paladin) teamed up together, throwing around tons of radiant damage against those dragons.

You need to watch the table to screen on the bath based shenanigans one of the best moments guest patrick rothfuss was there and Laura Baileys husband Travis (grog) had the best reaction!

Kima is a halfling, not a gnome. She's a Paladin, so also has some magical/divine abilities - hence the additional power beyond swinging the warhammer.

Yeah, ignore Vex at 0:57. She's being a bad player cause she didn't get all the loot, wah wah. Nothing ruins a tabletop game like unnecessary loot drama. In World of Warcraft terms, she's being a ninja looter. Given her ranged class, she's also enforcing the "huntard" stereotype. Scanlan got the Magnificent Manor spell when he reached level 13 as it's a 7th level spell. 5E changed it to requiring level 14. They're normally unseen servants, but these one's are flavored to Scanlan's tastes. Edit: just like the wine bottle scene from ep 3, look up the stream version of the bathtub moment.

I did a double take when I heard Korra. Fun Fact: Korra's VA played Keyleth's mom in season 2's flashback. Teaching Kiki about mastering the four elements no less!

This is the first LoVM episode written by Liam O'Brien (Vax), such a spread of events to give him in a single episode. The frivolity of Chateaux Shortholt, through Scanlan having to actually put real feelings on the outside, through the devastation of Whitestone. That spa scene was pulled essentially word for word and is a great moment of Vax finally trying to mend things after the way he's been treating Percy. And then of course Laura Bailey and her comedic timing just capping that scene off to the surprise of absolutely everyone! 😆 For reference, Scanlan and Pike are gnomes, but Lady Kima is a halfling. The key is a reskin of the spell Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion and without getting into it, I'm really keen to see how they also use this spell in the upcoming Mighty Nein animated series. This is such an excellent reaction video. You catch so many subtle details that others miss.

Skimming through the comments and saw no one mentioning it so I wanna explain: The 2 orbs were basically an alien artefact, last of their kind. 1 was captured which was on the Space Marine's ship, hooked up to a psyker so he can listen in on their conversation. When the other orb was stabbed, it said to the other orb that it has to jump inside the Warp (imagine space hell) to escape, in which the other orb said to "Take the space marines with you", in hopes the marines die in the Warp. The Warp is very dangerous because it's basically where Satan and his BFF live. So the big shadow that came in and swoop the orb holding the marines was a massive demon, and their favorite food is psychic users like these orbs and the guy being hooked to it. The psyker heard this, quickly break concentration to turn and warn the marines to recall the others immediately, and in that nanosecond the orb took notice and possessed him. In 40k universe, psykers are very dangerous because they can channel Warp powers to do magic, so if left unchecked, they can go violent (as in Reactor 4 Chernobyl level of violent) so the marines weren't being overkill with that execution.

Varrick is for sure one of the best parts of this series. He just brings such fun and laughs to every scene he’s in.

If you watch the deleted scenes (also available on KZbin) you will see a lot of instrumental footage, and it shows Michael cut power to the hospital, which is why the hospital is so dark later and the emergency generator lights are on. It also shows Laurie freaking out and struggling against Jimmy and the staff and try to get out of the hospital. It’s really worth watching if you liked the movie :-] excellent reaction by the way!

In my opinion.. about Lavabenders having an innate resistance to the heat.. it could be genetic. If you think about it, specialized benders must have special lineage. I believe Yakone said his family comes from a long line of Bloodbenders. Metalbenders are 1 in 100. Also, Toph is a Beifong, a family from a long line of Earthbending masters. Her discovery came from her lineage and environment (being blind). Bolin must have Earthbending and Firebending ancestry. (Since his mom is from the Fire nation and dad from the Earth kingdom). Gazan must have had the same combination of parents. There's even Sparky Sparky Boom Man and P'li.. Personally, I think it's due to Fire Nation and Air Nomad ancestry. Because it looks like Air being generated, followed by a fire explosion. Despite the Air Nomad genocide, some managed to escape and hide by assimilating into other nations. Which makes sense why Air benders came to be again, they had Air nomad ancestry.

Excellent playthrough Griz! Love this game. Still my favorite after 10 years. The AI of the xeno makes every play different. Must have played it through more than a dozen times.

Korra was broken down both physically and mentally. Her whole world collapsed in front of her eyes when Tenzin, although in good intentions, said that they will do what the Avatar will do.

The artwork in the end credits was done by the manga author, special for the credits. She did the art for the first end credits as well.

I think this is a well placed episode to recap everything that they have been through to this point before we dive into the finale. Very much an "Ember Island Players" episode.

What freaks me out a little bit are the weird gurgling noises you hear right before Ripley wakes up attached to the wall. Sounds like it could be facehugger noises. Also, the developers confirmed there will be a sequel to this game and I'm so excited.

Nickelodeon cut the budget for the show which in practice meant to either lay off staff or to cut episode budgets, which is why this episode is the way it is... It's not hard to see how bare bones the episode budget is, with very little episode original animation. Sometimes making minor animation changes to the re-used animation in Varrick's retelling (giving Jinora wings, giving Blue Korra Bolin's face, the phones in the phone call section). I can only imagine the work it took for the team to make something presentable with the budget they had for this, basically resting the whole episode on the writing/voice acting and editing. And even if it's not "good", it did make me chuckle watching it for the first time. Learning why it ended up the way it did, I gained a whole lot of respect for the team. And lost the little respect I had left for Nick from the earlier mishaps.

I'm glad you liked Season 2. While Season 2 is the bottom of the four (one of them had to be!) I really liked Season 2 as well.

Not a big fan of clip shows, but I agree - the tale of Nuktuk: Hero of the SOUTH was so much fun! Sadly, this episode exists because the budget prevented the episode which was going to give us Kuvira's backstory. This season is the end of the Korra series so I will only say it doesn't end on a cliffhanger or anything like that. It gives us a finale. I hear we are going to get an animated movie with the original Aang gang as adults and an animated series with the next Avatar. I think there's also going to be a series of mini-stories which will focus on other Avatars as well as giving us more content with Aang and Korra. Still... until it is out there, I don't know what we'll actually get.
