I enjoyed watching all the episodes individually, but holy shit, I'm only onto episode four here, and I feel like I'm being waterboarded. How can anything possibly be so stupid? Could they have made it worse if they'd TRIED? There are so many idiotic things, but here's one with canonical backing: where the fuck is Celebrimbor? Why is Elrond, who's much younger than her and also HER SON-IN-LAW, treating her as an equal (unfortunately for everyone in this show), rather than being, you know, married to her DAUGHTER? I want to rage-quit from the stupidity but your snark is addictive. If there were longer cuts, I think I'd lose it, but thankfully we get to keep your voiceovers the whole time.

Ahhh, so the fact that JRR Tolkien decided to not add too much of a back story for Sauron ........would have shown the alpha male he looked up to was his Uncle Morgoth But as with villains meant for a modern audience - there is nuance involved...what would turn a Angel/God like being into an evil dictator with delusions of ruling ALL middle earth beings......obv something must have happened to Sauron as a boy......well his uncle WAS Morgoth. Haven’t watched the show, love lotr and like watching videos picking apart how bad rings of power is but you are the prime example of someone who loves to complain just to complain. I guess it’s an archetype but not my taste. Made it 3 minutes in before I called it. When you complained about the show wasting 22 minutes without progressing the story I chuckled. What are in some kind of rush? My story doesn’t always need to be progressing and if there’s a cool scene that gives more perspective into something that’s been touched on previously in the show, then please by all means! That isn’t to say the start of this show is good, but the point you bring up to complain about is just winey and insignificant when considering the actual quality of the show. Anyway. Why wasted? How are the numbers? Just because you didn't like it? I bet you watched it multiple times. While complaining in your vid here you tell them directly how great they are. Well...and then. I heard they don't have the rights to the real stuff. So they had to do something else. If you only sell the naming right without giving a possibility for a good story. It's the fault of the rights holder in the first place. But at the end it's the numbers. The viewership that tell if a show is good or bad. So how are they? My guess is that every fantasy fan who has prime is watching. Maybe a bit unhappy and maybe even more unhappy. But hey, you have prime you get it for free. It's not like HBO were people cancel the service because the shows and movies are garbage.
