Such a shame to see her like a ghost ship now. This is amazing footage, makes me wanna go out an buy a drone myself. Why they have slapped black paint all over the ship now I don't know? She looked striking in her day in blazing white. Hope she gets the restoration and new lease of life as per 2021 press.

I love stuff like this. Is she being restored? The bow has a fresh topcoat and the hull looks to be primered. The deck planks look as though they've been pressure washed.

It looks like they removed half the deck planking from the ship's forecastle, since rotten wood harbors moisture, I hope she gets the same treatment SS rotterdam has gotten, Also The interiors are reported to be in great shape!

Cheers mate, it was built in the 50's and docked there in 79 with the intention of using it as a fun ship, tonnes of legal issues over the year along with rot, vandalism etc have led to it being in this sorry state.
