Philips Arena is now permanently an NBA arena....the Atlanta Thrashers dressing room was either gutted or just sitting there collecting dust.

no. they still have to be there to transform it for other events when basketball isn't being played there. arenas are used all year round regardless if sports are being played on it or not and so you'll always need a grounds crew.
