I agree.. Me being a Buffalo native I think the keybank does a better job @ selling out concerts & other entertainment events more than Sabre events based on my personal experience.. & I've been to 17 games. So you're 100% right. You my friend got a new sub! You should do football stadiums next

Apart from the Bills what else is there in Buffalo? Being so close to Toronto you’d think you’d attract hockey fans looking to watch a game on a “budget”. Like I said - every time I’ve been there (with Connor versus Eichel) the crowds were meh.

@@_TheRinks when you've been a bottom feeder for years you don't want to drive down to pay money. I used to go all the time as a kid in the aud and it was always packed. Was still a kid when keybank opened up and it used to be wild and loud chanting I can't repeat. Was wild until about 2012 ish. We are tired of the garbage product. Trust me it's a crazy hockey city

The concourse floor hasn't been repainted since it reopened. Still has arena football markings on it when the Destroyers played in Buffalo. WiFi needs updating. The team knows this. A lot of technological updates have been made though. Unfortunately, you haven't been for a Buffalo Bandits National Lacrosse League game, they're notorious for selling out. Always top 3 in season attendance (Colorado and Saksatchewan). Also, You think those are big, you haven't been to Gabriel's Gate on Allen St next time you're in town

Pretty empty? They've been horrible but still draw 17k plus. The arena seats 19,070.

Don't take my aggressiveness to seriously as I love these videos, however as I revisit this one, I have to say you are dead wrong on the "fan support" issue you brought up. Sabres fans are by far some, if not the most passionate fans/fan bases in the United States. The only other fan base (US) that I would consider on par with Buffalo would be Boston and their an original 6 team. I think the worst attendance I can recall since I've been following the Sabres (late 90's on) would still be far above 1/2 full like you suggested. The fact that any fans have showed up during this historically bad 7+ years is a massive testament to the passion of Sabres fans. Like I said I'm a huge fan of these Rinks around the league videos and I definitely appreciate the kind words towards KeyBank Center, but the complaints of locals with the "rusted seats" and "lack of hot water" are far more accurate than calling out the fan support.

Hey no need to apologize. Love the feed back. My comments stem from my own personal experiences over the last five seasons working for the Oilers. Every time we played there, including McDavids first game against Eichel, it was half full at best. So while this may not reflect the entire season etc, every time (albeit only 6 or so times) I was in the building I wasn't impressed with the crowd size knowing how popular the Sabres are. Like I reference the World Juniors a few years back attendance was an issue. A crowd size often doesn't reflect on how passionate the fan base is. Note I don't question the fan base passion, but rather butts in the seats.A lot of factors come into play with this (economics, ticket prices, team performance etc) I always love feedback...it's the reason we put our opinions out there! Now that the Sabres are back with an awesome record and exciting players to watch my comments will be outdated pretty quickly...but thats the risk I take by stating my opinion.

Love the content but not sure the fan narrative is really correct, despite being the bottom feeder of the league for nearly a decade the Sabres have consistently been ranked 10-15 in the league in attendance, if your going off the world championships, then I see where you got it from but it was so horrendously advertised and they pretty much sold out on the out door game.
