It is always enjoyable to watch your city strolls, this time Shinjuku, although it was cloudy, in the end even started to rain, no wonder it is a rainy season, after all. As for me the loveliest parts were the Shinjuku gohen, really huge peaceful place to spend a lot of time enjoying the nature in the middle of the city, as well as the Municipal Observatory although due to the weather not so much fun. I have seen some shorts dealing with Godzila project mapping there, quite interesting, but I also 37:21 remember your old Godzila video, it was so fun to watch, too. By the way I was blessed yesterday to catch the live of the recital part by Hayato Sumino from Nippon Budokan. I was impressed both by his playing celebrating his 29th birthday as well as by the huge concert hall as such. Have you ever visited there? Hoping that you will successfully navigate the tsuyi season and find some appropriate time for your filming. Stay safe and healthy! GAOOO....

Our family travelled to Japan in late 2023 - following your earlier videos, we were able to find our way to Penguin Square and enjoyed a peaceful time there watching trains and visiting the department stores (loved Hands the most!). We also liked the Starbucks in Kabukicho for peaceful breaks looking out of their big upstairs window 🙂. We stayed in Shin-Okubo in north Shinjuku which was interesting but too noisy and busy for us - next time we'll choose somewhere quieter!

I've always found your videos informative. Just would like you to consider maybe adding where the lifts are at these places of interest, as my wife is on a wheelchair & finding lifts around Japan are quite hard. So if you could add them in it would be great....
@deaddrunkgamer73992 ай бұрын
this suprice me a little bit, i find most buildings you almost have to use the lift to even get in to spots, havent been to a single station i can remember that doesnt have a lift. I'm going back this october, ill try and keep an eye for "research" purposes, but from my experience they are easily found. Tbf, not every spot do have one, that is true though. But i would say its a lot easier to find them in japan than where i live.

@deaddrunkgamer73992 ай бұрын
as a nordic i must say japanese rain rarely bothered me unless its typhoon season, thats a bit heavy. If anything i would say its a golden oppertunity to get to those places who is harder to get into, as there will be less people out, meaning less queues. That or finaly trying that one spot close to the hotell you always walk passed because you're going elsewhere :)

@deaddrunkgamer73992 ай бұрын
its quite normal at drinking spots, could almost call it cover charge, though i find it's easier to spot them now as most of them will display the price table charge / cover charge on the door / windows. I guess they are also somewhat tired of explaining what it is :)

Hi! We were there this past December 2023, it was also closed, I’ve asked workers there and they mentioned someone fell while climbing, maybe suicide. So they closed indefinitely 😢. I think they are making more improvements to the security or fencing. It was sad because we stayed at Gracery hotel for a few nights, great hotel, clean and in the heart of Shinjuku.

oh yeah its essentially on the outskirts of skyscraper district as they call it, if you go north you quickly start finding smaller places, same with west. going south you will find the park more or less that Rion didnt go into.
