Its hard to do darkin ascended skins bcs you have to remember the darkins are the weapons, and when ascended they were other human (probably) beings that got trapped in weapons when corrupted by Xolaani

The Pre darkin idea would be so cool. It would be funny to have an inverted Kayn/Rhaast duo, like Rhaast when he was human/ascended with his scythe possessed by an shadow entity that happen to be called Kayn (maybe I'm going too far here). What if the big event is essentially Sylas finding the magic of true ice in order to be able to withstand Dragonfire??? Like maybe he leads a siege against Demacia with the magic we saw in the cinematic so Demacia needs dragons to fight back, or he needs the magic to be able to survive dragonfire and tame dragons in order to lay waste to Demacia? All just theories, but it does tie into the new Dragon champ, the Vastayan Freijlord champ, and the possible Dragons in Demacia event.

Legend of runeterra's path of champions mode still has the frejlord path locked, and it has been since its creation. If the new solo laner is a biggie in the lore, then I'd imagine that's where we're heading with the skins too. Are we not at this moment in the story watching whoever try to free the watchers from Lissandra's care? Of which i believe they are connected to the void, no?... So yeh, I'd imagine this is the case.

I think we won't be getting a void event for a very long time. Lore wise, it would mean an epic climax as the void stands as the biggest threat to Runeterra's existence. And it doesn't feel like it's the right time. There still needs to be more happening lore-wise before Riot wants to tell that story.

I wish they'd give us human, or "Human-like" Lissandra. I mean when she was released, you had to make an allience with one of the three sisters, the one who'd win would change the course of events on the lore. Which was crazy. Yet, I guess riot expected Ashe to win because Lissandra won and the whole idea was delayed indefinitely. So a human-like skin for lissandra before she became Lissandra would be a good compensation, imo.

Everyone talking about uncorrupted darkin skins and dragons, but the event is SURELY surrounding Mord. He's very similar to Viego in the sense that his return and downfall has a lot of implications on a lot of champs (Leblanc, Rell, Briar, Swain,etc.) Noxus has also been the antagonizing force for a lot of places for a long time. I mean we don't know how the dragon prince is gonna connect to the universe in the grand scheme of things yet (much like Vex when she came out), but if the champion after that is really a Vastayan living in the Freiljord that is all too easy to connect to Noxus. We also got a bunch of extra stuff regarding Mord with his LOR release that wasn't used for the game (like his human form and seemingly random redesign). I suspect the event would probably play out the same as Viego's, with him breaking out of the grey realm, being a world changing threat, people rallying to stop him, and ultimately being sealed again without him actually being canonically killed/permanently defeated.

After all these years it's still hard to remember that they had to remove dominion as a game mode. I enjoyed it a lot and I hope that there are people out there who share the same feelings. My guess is that we’re probably going to get the new dragon champion around Chinese New Year’s because next year is the year of the Dragon so we probably would get either shyvavna skin (I’m really hoping, but I’m most of coping) Or Sol. Also with how poorly league handles the plot moving forward I doubt they'd bring the child of two champions to the game, but it could be the child of the elder dragon (since LoR and all that stuff)

PLEASE tell me we can see what the Darkin were like as Ascended. I have a theory that the reason we are seeing all of the void changes on the map is because they want to do, NOT A VOID EVENT, but the War in Icathia. We've only ever heard of it through lore, and we have very few images of the conflict, some of which are very different to the iterations of the void we are familiar with and are seeing now. Perhaps Riot wants to clarify the Void's appearance for the general audience by doing a recap event of the War in Icathia, and this would also introduce us to the Ascended versions of the Darkin that we know currently, who all fought in the war and became corrupted.

@@trimex7234 Naafiri’s would probably be the easiest considering that Ascended are usually Animals anyway, they just have to do a light swap on her color pallet and emphasize more armor over her fur. Rhaast is a bit hard, you’d have to have Kayn in some Shuriman Garb, and perhaps Blue Kayn would be if Kayn ascended.
