Sinerias, I am wondering if you have seen the popular Chinese Yi build of bork, navori, black cleaver. This is the second most played and highest win rate build in China for Yi.

these 6 items give you the highest possible dps on yi, ive tested it in practice tool, you could call it "mathematically correct yi": collector, infinity edge, lord doms, blade of the ruined king, rageblade, kraken slayer (red pot) with lethal tempo thats the highest dps you can possibly get on yi, ive tested all item combinations. notice how it doesnt have 100% crit, thats because there is no 4th crit item that will give you more dps than blade, rageblade or kraken. you also cant use yun tal, because you will go over 2.5 attack speed and lose all your damage. you also cant use terminus for the same reason, in terms of damage, lord doms outclasses it completely against all armor values, even fully stacked. (ofc with the old lethal tempo the build wouldve been completely different, being capped to 2.5 attack speed means you can only use blade, rageblade and kraken as the only onhit attack speed items, that will give you 2.5 already with your ult, so anything beyond that is wasted gold and dps.)

@@Sc9cvsd None. In a real game you wont buy these items realistically. You either go full into crit or on-hit / tank. What this guy said is the on-hit trinity + plus crit items. Yi's normal build is bork, rageblade, and kraken and then u can flex into tank items. Why would u flex into crit items and more damage when u already do more then enough? Its the same reason Yone and yasuo only go 2 crit items and then flex into bruiser. Even though they could build more damage, survivibility is more important because u already do enough damage.

I just played a Round without BORK and with Yun Tal instead. Does really good DMG but I was missing that BORK Passive Slow/Lifesteal/DMG. In Order for Q to deal this massively increased Damage you will probably need between 75% to 100% Crit. And its really the Auto's that dealt 1K Crits for me that carried hard as I shredded the Thresh in 3 Auto's(because Single Target Q is nerfed by the 25% setback alot).

Guys I think I know what is the best item after the 3 core for crit. And that is hexplate, it gives you everything you want. Ive bien using this build in that order and is the best i can think. If they have a los of disengage or dashes is the only time i take hail of blades. If not lechal tempo always.

The new crit build (bork, boots, lord dromnik's regards, infinity edge, navori) is completely busted. A single Q in a teamfight and everyone dies. 100 true damage on hit from wuju and your crits deal 500 damage.. Plus you are untargetable half the time

Actually i think going collector first then navori and IE third would be better. Like, ye, if they have 3 tanks like in this game u go full on-hit but if they have 2 or less tanks crit build that i suggested should be really good. Like, bork rn is in a doghit state, its a pricey, low stats and have garbage passive. But with collector u have more dmg early AND it's cheaper AND dirk give u insane early boost. Then u go navori and have extra attack speed u might've lacking but also u will have some kind of survivability because you can spam Q's more often. And then you go IE and just completely oneshot everyone. Btw going bork first delays your crit powerspike very badly and i think you know it better than me. P.S I fully agree with you what hob is useless. I think LT is just better no matter what

In a 1v1 scenario you're a little weaker than him between lvl 2 and first item, but after that you should be able to win 1v1s if you dodge his fear with Q. But if you mean in the match in general then probably you'll want to get some wards on your blue and start red to avoid being too weak to his invade.
