We need more angus on canna shows probably the biggest contributor to the seeds I use in my projects and preservations got a good amount of my choices of his stock in a deep freeze and set aside for incase situations. Need more people keeping old world cultivars saved and grown over and over to keep them with us. I’ve noticed a lot of crazy wonderful varieties from komaoni and many of the others aswell

Hey Matt, unrelated but i noticed that although Shanti/Ingemaar beef over Widow, De Sjemaan's own website now states that his Widow is BrazilianxIndian. Do you think that this implicitly "proves" Shanti's story without saying it?

I’m not sure if ingemar is still around to comment on it but every Dutchmen I’ve met pretty much believes Ingemar over shanti. Shanti is cool but his memory for recall the last 7 years or so is brutal

Why wouldn't the modern hybrids be inherently more genetically diverse? That's the problem. We're losing individuality. Damn. I'm sounding racist. I don't want to. But if all species adopt a sameness, we're all more susceptible to a pandemic. Eugenics sucks.

It's not "eugenics" it's science. No it doesn't make any sense to just hybridize everything generation after generation losing genetics along the way. Imagine if "rescues" were the only dogs you could purchase. Imagine if all dogs were mutts no pure breds no pedigree..that's basically what's currently happening and it's a waste of potential.

Not just that but when you don't keep seperate individual seed lines alive and instead just continually arbitrarily hybridize stuff generation after generation we literally lose genetics potentially forever.. some of these traits took literally thousands of years to develop. What we have is just the tip of the iceberg compared to what cannabis can provide.

Question I'm brit home grower somebody told me they had male auto seeds or reg autos what's the odds on them taking natural gold and breeding like landrace in UK if u dropped shitloads out of drones overgrow the gov and all that just a funny thought
