He did get into it. He said OGs he likes fresh, purple takes a month, hazes are 1-2 weeks. If you're wondering about a specific strain you're growing you need to dial in the cure time yourself

Scott's also 100% right about the weed being trash these days and I also believe it's 100% to do with post harvest practices. So many people grow amazing weed but only a few know how to harvest it........... its easy too, whole plant hang atleast 2 weeks sometimes 3 at 60 ish degrees and 50-60% humidity then dry trim and jar. Let sit in jars for atleast 24-48hrs to even out and bam you got tasty smooth smoke

I found a rugburn og male that was very special, it went on to make a elite cross with a bangarang from exotic. Terps very similar to rainbow belts but completely different gentics and an absolute monster to grow. Any time I germ next to reputable breeders mine always pop fast and more vigorous, I've stress tested them by doing full runs of no ph'd water, over watering, under watering light leaks etc and it no matter what it always turns out top shelf fire

I've got a couple of things to add, as someone starting in the Minnesota space. I am following along and listening to the advice. That being said, what I have seen from MN growers, and the people I've seen who are getting propped up to do big things. But I think the market MN is brewing can either be amazing and game changing, or just another state thats mid. But I think the land of lakes, corn, grain, and soybeans. So heavy oil extraction farmers. Are going to grow some AMAZING flower.

Louisiana only has good day farms and it 75 a 8th. They only have a few state ran grows. Here in the Mississippi there's 130 plus non state ran grows. Our system needs work but we have options. Unlike most other southern states.

For male selection u honestly need to let it grow out fully with multiple males as the donors of course ur looking for a good internodal spacing but I've had a few males that were just OK looking but turns out they pass the traits I wanted so for me its hard to say specific things I look for in a male bc I will use multiple males for the cross bc until u pop the progeny u won't know wat traits were kept or swapped.

U guys need to go to dispensaries that's how u know wats going on in the market it's a big deal stop people and ask them ive even given away flower in the parking lot to show wats possible to people who would've never seen good quality cannabis. Also as a concentrate guy I switched bc smoking flower was a job it took so much time to roll up and smoke and I don't have time like that I also quit smoking cigarettes and after trying for weeks to smoke a joint or a pipe without it tasting like an ashtray but that never went away so I started smoking concentrate exclusively back in 2011.

i had a plant that did that it was close nodes but tall and was nice branching and the bugger went male so now i pollinated his sister and i am waiting on the seeds to dry i already tried a germ test and it was 9 of 12 so not bad with fresh picked seeds
