Another great show. Always love watching and learning from all of yall. I myself will top my plants once there is at least 5 nodes. Once the branches are at least 5 inches long I will start LST for the remainder of veg and the first 3 weeks into flower. I call this my 5x5 method. Defoliation and leaf tucking through the whole grow especially in flower.

I topped my new grow at about 14 days and started training 3 days after they are looking really good they were also leggy after sprouting I dug them up gently loosened the soil and looped them back into the soil right up the leaves I really was surprised at the results they were absolutely thriving 4 days later.

I think we are defoliating too soon (early veg). We're going to wait on the next grow until they are mid-veg and looking healthy. We will train again at 4/5 nodes and top but I think we stress them out too much by removing stems & leaves too early. Great info, sons!

I tried Heavy low stress after transplanting 7" at end of EarthBox's and pinned her down as she grew and each limb spreading her out low to the ground some limbs are now covered with top dress.. she's a beast outdoors with maybe 50 tops. well I got 4..lol what FUN! TY for all the instructional help!

4:36 I start my first training as soon as I can. I find using the bud clips helps buff up that stalk as fast as possible. After that it could be an every other day thing. I don’t have height so I can’t let them do what they want.

I've been experimenting with supercropping and I found that if you want your lower buds to bulk and mature grab the leafs and tug them away from the branch. They fill in the gap caused by the branch. I'm just about to harvest a Sherb Cream Pie plant and it stretched way more than I expected when I flipped to flower so I had to take extreme measures in my 2x2. I have dense big buds, especially on the supercropped branches, which inspired me to focus on the lower buds. I wanted to find out if there was a way to help them bulk and I believe I found it. Like I said earlier, just pinch onto the leaves and bend it out away from the branch so it is pointing horizontally from the main branch. Keep doing it every day or 2 and you'll see results. Any way...happy growing and great podcast!

When it comes to outdoors I like to top the plant once the nodes start growing like a clone instead of two nodes coming of the plant side by side like when it’s young. Helps with weight transfer and not splitting the stalk when in flower. Also get to see how the plant grows on its own at same time.

If a plant seems to be just stretchy no matter what ypu try. Some of the older legs would separate the blue vs red channels. By using a lot of blue light and minimal red light will stop your plant from stretching while still allowing root development to continue

I try to top the top 3 nodes once the plant gets to about 6 nodes, and then I clone the top. If it roots, I switch the seedling and see how it stretches and grows. Then I can use that info to start training the clone. If I like the smoke, I have a mom ready to cut from.

P is not going to like it, but I’m going to try to train autos 😁 BTW if you didn’t know it guys: Germany depenalized Cannabis on 1rst of April. People are allowed to grow 3 plants or 50 grams per month. This is huge for Europe. If Germany succeeds, entire Europe will follow. Maybe an interesting topic for your show. Greetings from Cologne 🇩🇪🌳

We are living in a culture entirely hypnotized by the illusion of time, in which the so-called present moment is felt as nothing but an infintesimal hairline between an all-powerfully causative past and an absorbingly important future. We have no present. Our consciousness is almost completely preoccupied with memory and expectation. We do not realize that there never was, is, nor will be any other experience than present experience. We are therefore out of touch with reality. We confuse the world as talked about, described, and measured with the world which actually is. We are sick with a fascination for the useful tools of names and numbers, of symbols, signs, conceptions and ideas... 🌱🌱✌😎💨💯🌱🌱
