RIP Eflite Draco.

This last flight the Draco lost control and hit the ground. Our beloved plane is beyond repair.
unfortunately we did not get video footage from the crash. But we have still have the pictures.

I had a close call with Draco just yesterday. Flew 1st battery and all was well. Put in the second battery and juuuust before takeoff the elevator drastically changed to 80% down at level sticks. Pretty much full stick to keep it level and preventing a prop strike. Still need to figure out what caused it. Such a fun plane to fly. Glad your getting another.🎉

It is a really fun plane to fly. We flew this one last Sunday again. And it took nearly 40 min to trim him out. But now it flys really good.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have one and it is the best plane I have flown so far. I like it so much I bought the micro version so I can fly anyplace anytime I want to. Please don't give up on this plane. I have crashed my big one many times due to the fact I only have ben flying RC planes for a couple of years. Fortunately the damages were minor and did not total it. You might want to check out the micro version. It is only $199 and it flies just like the big one but I doubt you will ever crash it.

Thank you, the Draco is indeed one of my favorite planes. I dont have any experience with the UMX version, but it looks fun. The big one is in our collection again, and we fly it a lot.

Trust me its fine thats actually a common feature of rc planes they will explode all over the ground. Just glue that baby back together and presto! New plane

Lost to much foam. We tried to clue it back together. We keep this one for spares and bought a new one. This plane is a lot of fun.

Unfortunately we did not get any footage. It looked the plane lost power. And went uncontrollable head first in the ground.

The Draco does pose some challenges, as she's a heavy girl. I've been there...done that! I'm onto Draco #2 because I enjoy the test (or I'm just crazy 😂)

It was a bad judgment in speed and ground clearance. But training with a sim is never a bad idea.

One of the worst planes I have owned. The eflite carbon cub 2.1m is far better.

The worst plane i owned this far was the Eflite V900. That one crashes before taking off. I think the Draco is fun. But you need to keep in mind the ground clearance 😅.

I am sorry you feel that way I also own the Carbon Cub and the Draco is the better plane by far in my humble opinion. No RC plane can match the remarkable short take off features and the prop reverse lets you land places no other RC plane that size can. You might want to check out the micro version. It might change your opinion of this plane.
