It took me a full 10 years to go fully plant based. It started with watching the news on Listeria being found in processed meats at a processing plant. I decided no processed meat. Then I would listen to news of problems within meat processing plants with unfair labour practices. Gave up more meat. Then I watched ‘Forks Over Knives’ and that was the next step to going plant based. Then health issued started appearing (sucks to getting older) and that was the final straw. Where am I going with this - it’s never to late!

Man. There is not a single Esselstyn I don't love. I consider each one of them part of my family and truly treasure them (Caldwell, Ann, Jane, & Rip). That's it... I'm no longer referring to myself as vegan or plant-based. I'm plant strong from now on. Peace. 💚🌿💪🏼

It is so great to see so many advocates for a vegan diet. This video is so useful to reach men and women in our communities. Keep up the good work. I've been on this diet for 35 years and love it. People are not aware that by eating this way they also expose themselves to a wider variety of fruit and vegetables and that our tongues are very adaptable in the sense that we come to like fruit and or vegetables which we did not like. For example I did not like celery, now I love it.

I spent 14 years degrading my health on a vegetarian/whole foods diet. Fighting to stay out of the hospital with a plethora of issues. Now, decades later as a whole-animal carnivore, I have finally found 100% health. Meat saves lives...it saved mine.
