She IS an ICON amongst the cosmos🥰 I did not know she had transitioned and I am so taken aback😥 As a young mother many years ago, it was Mari's videos of wellness and caring that helped me in tremendous ways, beyond the physical. Been practicing pilates for over a decade, and still love it. Mari was my first teacher via VHS tapes back in the day. Was privledged to meet her once at her studio in LA. Warm and gracious lady, I was thrilled to take a picture with her. She even autographed her book for me. Rest in peace, thank you, and "no hula hips" with single leg circles!

I live in France, I'm French, I grew up partly in the US, and just her 20 minute workout has largely contributed to the health of my body and mind, to learning how to breathe, to "oiling" my joints, to waking up my body, to embracing short-term and long-term dressage riding objectives, to being proud of myself, to reminding me how lucky we are.. She makes me Alive really. My husband smiles and laughs lovingly every morning when he sees me do the 100s: he calls me Tweety Bird...I seem to resemble a little bird trying to take off on my back !! Ah I'm so happy to hear that she was surrounded and knew how much she was loved. Farewell Madame Mari Winsor ! And to all of us, let's keep her wonderful energy flowing. Au revoir!

I have been doing Winsor Pilates for more than 15 years now. The only thing that will absolutely transform my body and get me results. I do Winsor Pilates 3x a week and alternate with walking. My God, I pray for this beautiful soul! I had NO idea she had passed! My very own cousin died of this same life robbing illness about 5 years ago. I just decided to look up her programs on KZbin after my DVDs of many decades finally became unusable and I was so pleased to see her programming available, and so sad to just learn this news now :( I loved her DVD series and her energy and attitude in it, she always felt encouraging and supportive of all different kinds of bodies. I had no idea Mari had ALS & that she passed! She’s the reason I began Windsor Pilates back in the day! I bought her DVD set & couldn’t believe how effective her workouts were for me! I still own her DVDs, but now I use an AeroPilates 5 cord Reformer at home because it’s much easier for me after back surgery! RIP Mari Windsor & THANK YOU! ❤🕊️

I remember doing her workout for 2 weeks and ppl kept asking if I list weight of his did I loose weight so quickly!? Oh wow, I didn't know she suffered from ALS and that she has passed away. So sad! I just got out my Windsor Pilates DVDs that I've had for 17-18 years. I haven't done them in so long, and I'm in pilates teacher training right now and wanted to resurrect them. I'm so sad to learn of her passing. I'm also grateful I still have my DVDs, and I look forward to learning from her in a new way as I embark on my journey as a pilates teacher. I sadly had a feeling with her diet that she was going to die 15 years ago. I had her diet book and realized it was a diet that is so common now a days but detrimental to our human frugivore anatomy. We thrive on an abundance of fruit. Not chicken and vegetables and fish. We are not carnivores or omnivores. We can somewhat survive on omnivore but the fact that so many our dying younger and younger now is a clear picture that our diet has been going in the wrong direction!

I just wanted to start a pilates lesson again after not been able to go to the gym for 4 months without a vaccine passport. I am so sorry to hear Mari died. She was the best with in teaching pilates.
