I felt Brawl's was quite depressing. Me and my friend were playing it for the last time, we got an epic victory right at the last minute. Then we tried searching again and it just... Wouldn't find any players. So we quit off it, tried reconnecting and yeah, discontinued :( I haven't had a Wii very long, but I have many memories with Pokemon :'(

WolfieVII Yeah thats very sad, knowing if you disconnect, it is forever :( . I have many many memories with MKWii and SSBB. This is very sad for me. I hope MK8 wont shut down for at least 10 years. MKWii only lasted about 6, but with the new dedicated service i hope MK8 lasts more.

Mkwii didn’t fully go until around a day because I was on when the matchmaker had just died but then I got kicked off

I will miss it too, but i will miss MKWii online more because it almost didnt have any lag problems. I hated the VR system tho. I hated to loose too much points if i lost a race in last that i even stopped playing for many months.

This makes me think of the day when my dad got me and my brother a wii when we turned 4. :(. I will always miss these days. All the games I played with my brother on the wii gave me so much joy. For some reason this video gives me mixed emotions.

I found a way to play again but it will require to have the Homebrew channel, SD card, flash drive/USB drive, and files. And it's called wiimm patcher.

Nintendo WFC was shut down in 2014. This means: Only 6 years of life cycle. Mario Kart Wii is still great in 2018. Looks excellent on a 2160p monitor.

People, what Nintendo did was both a major low blow to us nintendo wii & ds owners and unforgivable. we need to fight the corporation, for they will eventually do the exact same thing to all wii-u & 3ds/2ds owners in the mere future. clearly, the only logical explanation to such injustice is they want us to purchase their newest consoles & games so they will make even more money. pass this message on. we will hopefully botch the success of the wii-u & 3ds/2ds, making nintendo pay for their sins.

at 1 AM eastern time may 21st 2014 (NY) i was still playing mw3 and black ops online. When i went to sleep the servers were still going. Is COD exempt from the server shutdown?

There are some games that are exempt from server shutdown. Your game has to have the NWC logo to be affected i think. I also heard that COD servers could be exempt because activision is in charge of them aka not NWC.
