Now technology hands us instant torque A/C motors at each wheel with batteries than can output over 1500amps of power, and that’s been in less than 10 years! Imagine what more advancements and research will yield! Fun times ahead for speed junkies.

That’s one thing I like about my raptor gen 1 besides the v8 is that it was nvr ment to be luxurious and whoever ordered it he specd it out bare bones as possible and and ordered all the good stuff (performance parts)

love these trucks - bought Raptor R in June. Took it into service for a software update more than three weeks ago. The dealer's service department can't do anything to help b/c Ford isn't answering their calls or messages. Every other day the shop checks in with me to update me that Ford still hasn't gotten back to them. Absolute radio silence. Buyer beware - I love the truck, but I can't drive it and Ford just stays silent.

This is the exact truck I ordered back in January of 2024 and just took delivery. I can't say enough about how fucking great this truck is. I never thought I would ever get rid of my 2014 Raptor, but this is the only truck that made this happen. Great video!

$150,000 over 8 years leaves you with a $720 bi weekly payment. If a couple in a household both pull in reasonable income, affording this truck would be easy. With that said however, I could see insurance and fuel costs combined could potentially be more than the payment for some people.

Both are great trucks, definitely would take whatever is cheaper. Try finding a Raptor R right now for anywhere close to the MSRP that's already substantially more than the TRX. I wouldn't own either out of warranty though, that's an expensive repair bill that's only a matter of time if you are using and abusing it like I know I would.

When the TRX was out, all of the comments were “The TRX has a V8, I don’t care if it costs more and has to be loaded with 30k in options to get solid features”. Now when the RHO is in with the I6 and way less power and off-road capability, it’s “Oh well it costs less, the Raptor R is a bad value even though it comes with every single option imaginable as standard equipment”. Mopar fanbase sucks almost as bad as Toyota.
