I've been using a Hunstman Tournament Edition for the past 2 years and I can say, they are the smoothest switches i've felt even after using many other keyboard switches. And besides, I'm using IEM's so the sound doesn't bother me. (Edit): I can smell the comments trashing me for using a Razer keyboard.

The response time between a 'gaming' keyboard and a custom mechanical keyboard is negligible, even less so if you use switches like akko crystals which have a low actuation force. In short, stop listening to bullshit, a 1ms difference in response time is less than a frame, it isn't enough to even effect a games input reader

Its so funny seeing people just completely eat up razer's marketting gimmick like this. "Your SHITTY keyboard only registers at a pathetic 0.7 milliseconds, while my SUPERIOR GAMING keyboard registers at a whopping 0.2 milliseconds." That is less than a 30th of a frame at 60fps. Not only that, but because many razer products need you to use their chroma drivers in order to have their custom RGBs, it often makes performance *worse,* because of how much processing power chroma studios eats up. (Not a super big amount on user made ones, but a giga fuck-ton on chroma integrated games). You can absolutely use Razer products if you like, but dont pretend that you are getting them for the "performance"

i have already bought 2 of these keyboards. on one of them, the pcb was fried for 2 of the keys, so i couldn't fix the issue by replacing the switches. i get a new and and wouldn't you know it, the same issue happens. it sounds great, but please buy it at your own risk

Razer keyboards are for gaming and not sound. Show me the actuation point and latency data compared to data. Show me tangible data that the keyboard performs better. Not everything is about how the keyboard sounds.

I mean, Razer keyboards aren't really designed to sound good, they are designed to respond fast, and they are made for gaming, so it is easy to put it to shame in sound, but in responsiveness, at least in my opinion, razer is truly the best. It responds in 0.8 Milliseconds!

I got my first custom keyboard, the Keychron Q6, and for 200 dollars, it's the best 100 percent keyboard you'll own. From brands like Razer and Corsair, just to name a few, you'll never get something as durable or as good of quality as these independent brands making keyboards.

Honestly, I've seen this one and the Razer keyboard in the video compared side-by-side and their response time and such are close to (if not pretty much) the same (which the person I saw comparing it was testing both on rhythm games and such, which the response time on your keyboard is quite important for rhythm games, and they checked the specs as well), and for the rapid trigger stuff (which is the main thing that has to do with response time people talk about when defending this overpriced keyboard, not to mention rapid trigger is mostly used for rhythm games as it makes little to no difference in other types of games), if you want an actually good keyboard with rapid trigger you might as well save your money and get a wooting keyboard instead as it has way better response time, actually feels nice to type on and use, doesn't install software that just slows down your pc like pretty much all Razer keyboards, mouses and practically all of their products do, has customizable rapid trigger, actually sounds decent (I know the sound isn't as important in gaming as response time an such, but good sound is nice in a keyboard not to mention having a bad sounding keyboard that is quite loud can distract from gameplay), and you can easily customize and mod it to your liking. In the end, if you look into specs and everything, it isn't that hard to get a keyboard better than a Razer one as the only thing truly going for it would be the rapid trigger stuff, which wooting has proven that they have way better rapid trigger (and proved that their keyboard is just a better keyboard in general) than any of Razer's.

For gaming any keyboard will do. A five bucks rubberdome HID 125Hz is perfectly fine to game on. Also even the cheapest barebones will at least support 500Hz polling rate and NKRO, latency with keyboards, as long as you don't use BT isn't a factor at all (and if you should probably go back to PS/2 devices because unlike USB they're not being queued).
