I’ll never forget for my High school Disneyland trip I saw the entire Funhaus gang running around there. This was 2017, the height of my Funhaus obsession. I unfortunately never walked up to them, it was intensely crowded, but I did yell Funhaus and they yelled back in excitement. Good little moment 👍🏻

I’ve been following since Lawrence was a laptop. It’s sad that you have had to jump around so many times. Losing inside gaming, gaining it back, having to leave. But I’m glad you have a stable platform now, and that my 3 favourite members are here now. I miss the days of watching Inside gaming before school and Funhaus before college in the morning. The Friday “Yes” is burned into my brain. Thank you for still being you!

Itll be cool to see Bruce, Lawerence, James and Elyse to hang out again every once and a while still on this channel if possible. Literally the best chemistry of people when theyre all together doing anything that i grew up watching with you guys. Hope for the best with the current funhaus cast too that they get some someway to continue doing what they love too, but the future is unclear. It just sucks how rooster teeth made the best content for ones childhood in the internet ever to go through this painful of a downfall though. It brought the best of people together into funhaus, and now leaving with a crew of amazing people too despite all the struggles.

Speaking to Bruce's point about the drama around certain people in 2020 coloring his entire experience with the company and his memories with them, I feel like that's the experience that a lot of fans had to. I had a hard time watching content from funhaus for at least a couple years before I eventually felt I was able to watch content again without thinking about all that. And I think that that was reflected in the view counts across all channels
@dani007a
@dani007a 6 ай бұрын
Yeah, that was definitely a big part of it. That's why I stopped watching AH after watching them daily for nearly a decade. And then when those people finally got back around to watching the content again, the casts had completely changed. And no matter how awesome the new casts were (because they were, the new cast members were all top tier in their own right), it didn't change the fact that they were different people. They had all the problems of starting a new channel with the budget costs of an old channel.

i turned 25 this year. i started watching inside games pretty much right after it’s conception and followed the group through to funhaus and now beyond. seeing the growth of everyone and the growth of youtube in general has been very interesting and i definitely agree that the landscape has changed from the big groups infront of a camera to one or two making stuff by themselves. i agree with you bruce in the context of, everything back then is stained by certain actions of individuals and it’s so hard to look back with fondness knowing what we know now. in any case, to bruce and lawrence, thank you both for being the pillars of internet entertainment for frankly, a lot of my life. the laughs and news and everything you guys did and continue to do have genuinely shaped my humour and my outlook on life. thank you both

As someone who’s had Inside gaming (machinima dark days)and funhaus close to my heart for the better half of my life, it sucks to see all this take place. I will say, I hope this is a new beginning for the journey of the funhaus/inside gaming team. I’ll never forget watching those inside gaming steam roulettes and GTA videos, early funhaus office tours and thinking to myself, this can’t last forever. and it didn’t, but damn if i didn’t mass view captainpajamapants compilations for years to come. Thanks to all of you for giving us such great content for so many years, and for amassing a community of truly funny, genuine people. Man......AH, Inside Games, Funhaus, The Creatures, Cow Chop, and RT got me through a decade of crippling depression and severe health issues. Whenever I would just feel at the end of my rope I grab some rum and just start watching playlists. Eventually I would be crying and my chest would hurt from laughing so hard and my problems wouldn't feel so suffocating anymore. I haven't tuned in in years due to all the stuff going on but it still makes me sad to see something that saved me in my darkest times disappear.

Have mentioned this before but will say this, Will miss RT especially funhaus and inside gaming. Been there since day 1 of Funhaus, unfortunately stopped watching since 2019. Even watched inside gaming since the machimia (misspelled) days. It’s gotten me through a tough life of mental abuse, nothing violent just mistreated. Yelled at a lot, crying. I have mentioned all this before but I do mean it. The history the channels have provided even with everything that happened will never change for me, Funhaus and inside gaming will always be my favorites. Thank you RT for the history and, thank you Bruce, Lawrence, and even Brian for everything you guys have done for your respective channels/communities throughout history. Much hilarious videos!

The internet and community interaction today is perfect ground for entertainment cooperatives. Like crowd funding, content creator owned cooperatives have a cohesive structure to compete with big corporations but have the independence and fairness that the best will still rise to the top with less people getting screwed over. If you want out of corporations, you gotta make cooperatives. It's a very ancient business model and flexible enough for flattening of power structure and an engaged dynamic.

I remember seeing the corporatization strangle the creativity out of everything and the environment behind the scenes becoming more rigid and sterile. I remember one by one as people who entertained me throughout my teens and 20’s dropped away due to scandal or drama. Change sucks, But growth is good - people who i’ve watched for decades now have other creative outlets I can follow and life will go on. I just see this as the inevitable conclusion of the journey Burnie set RT on when he sold it.

I remember that RTX Sydney event, I was one of the Guardians. Did all of Sydneys, one London and one Austin. But that event, I helped look after all the Funhaus crew. Making sure you all had water, weren't too crowded, just making sure it went smoothly. It was just a damn blast. So many great memories from that event.

Thank you for doing this. It was incredibly cathartic for me and felt like a good way to start letting go of Funhaus as a consistent means of entertainment into the future. I appreciate that, in a sea of negativity over the past few days, you've provided us with this glimpse back at what feels predominantly positive. I appreciate you three, and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Sadly, never got to go to an RTX, here's hoping one day I can meet you guys at a different event. This does not mean I have a shortage of great memories talking about recent videos with my friends and just enjoying the content through the years. You guys hit the nail on the head, watching all these years I knew it wouldn't be forever, but man it was a hell of journey and I appreciate you guys putting yourselves out there for our entertainment. Here's hoping with time the good continues to outshine the bad, as you've given all of us nothing but good!

It's great to see Brian on-screen again, I don't think I had seen him since the The Know days. I had forgotten that I used to watch that years ago, and nowadays I follow him on Twitter and he's really active there and he has great takes on a lot of things. And he's often funny, too. And Lawrence and Bruce, I've been watching you guys since the Inside Gaming Daily days, when Lawrence was a laptop, and it's been a wild, long journey to see you guys go from there to here, and although I feel sad hearing how past Rooster Teeth controversies negatively affected you both, at least you guys can now say that you've managed to move on from it. I miss the days of Funhaus, where everything DID seem like it was alright between everybody, but if those bad things happened and you guys had to get away from it, I'm so glad that you guys did. It's EXTREMELY rare that I truly care about people that I watch or read online, but IGD, Funhaus and now Inside Games has been made up of you guys, whom I've genuinely teared up for a few times when it's been known that you guys have been going through bad things. This is a veeery long comment, and I don't know if it will even be seen, and I'm just a fan, but I just wanted to take a few moments to write something heartfelt for you guys, 'cause it's the least I can do as a longtime fan that you've brought so much entertainment and laughter to over the years. Much love to you guys, to Brian, to James and Elyse and the rest of the crew that has been responsible for this joy you guys have brought to the world. Thanks for everything you guys have done and will continue to do.

Watched funhaus daily since the inside gaming days for me it ended when Bruce left he was the heart and soul of the whole team was like 13 when I started watching these guys haha now I’m 26 with 2 kids. Just sad to see it finally end. And hearing about the background stuff that happened and how much they disliked it at times is a bit sad when you watch the older videos, still watch the old gta ones on a channel called armitage. R.I.P funhaus. Hope the can get the willems on board for a few episodes. In reality Bruce and Lawrence left at the perfect timing.

I think it was E3 2015 or 2016, James and Bruce playing around, making fun and laughing their asses off at the effects caused by the green screen used to show a background. I couldn't stop laughing.

OK, first up YAY BRIAN :D My boyfriend and I were literally just talking about Brian the other day and how much we missed him, so I am filled with joy getting to see him again. Secondly, I've been following ya'll since the Machinima days and I just appreciate and respect you guys so much. The content you've given us over the years, and continue to provide, is phenomenal and it gives me something to look forward to after a stressful day of tier 1 technical support bullshit. I really hope you guys know that you're a genuine bright spot for so many people and have been for so fucking long. I will say, as someone who has been involved with groups and such where we later found out some toxic shit was going on behind the scenes (or were witness to it unfolding) I sympathize and empathize with you. It IS trauma and it feels like not only stolen time but like precious things, memories and experiences are tainted by something you couldn't control. I'm genuinely sorry you ever had to experience it but I wish you all well and hope you're able to both make new memories but also to one day be at a place where those times are easier to remember. I hope you guys keep thriving and I wish nothing but love and good things for every last person affected by the RT situation, especially the beautiful people still over at Funhaus.

I remember watching the know 9 years ago. Then inside gaming I remember at the time when it changed i saw people leave. I was like aw I'm going to miss that person or this person, but every new person that came to the shows always was enjoyable to watch RIP RT especially for RedvBlue also.

You're Gen X. Real Boomers are retired now. They were born in the 50s and 60s. This expansion of the word boomer sucks. I just turned 40 and I'm not going to let anyone call me a boomer. Call me old all you want, but not a boomer. I'm an early millenial! My parents are boomers!
