Oh my! So here I am sat in a van in North Scotland with the diesel heater on.... Looking forward to the 22nd November when I come to WA! I was there 10 years ago and got the license and went detecting for a week. No gold... This time I intend do loads of detecting. Will get a 4x4, probably not a full on thing... something like an X-trail. My brother lives in Rockingham area and will be able to get out sometimes. But I'll be forward, blunt cheeky.... Any chance of hooking up? I wouldn't expect you to take me to your most treasured area, but yeh.... I'm fkn desperate to find gold in WA. I sometimes pan here and get ridiculously small flakes 🙄🤣 Cheers 🍻

Cheers for the comment mate, after November it gets brutally hot out here and most prospectors usually sit it out for a few months and do research on detecting areas...from Rockingham where I detect is about 12/14 hours drive away🤣 you have to be pretty keen...I think people from the city head into the Murchison area as it's about half that distance, people seem to be doing well out that way👍 good luck mate hope you get your nugget, it's a great feeling when you dig that first nugget out of the Red Dirt.

@@GoldfieldsGoose Thanks for the info! Yeh, I get it with the heat.. Last time I was out near Mount magnet New years and it was 47 degrees! Very quiet. I just did short detecting sessions and then chilled in the car. 12 or 14 hours is fine by me! LOLZ. But Merchison sounds good thanks. Also... Permission from mining companies.... Are you generally granted permission when you get in touch with a company? And is a phone call generally sufficient or is it best to email a request? I have a website saved with a template, but if phone calls are generally OK I will go with that. Cheers again Mr. 👊

Yeah mate, phone call or email will work, but not always...other thing to do is look into getting an E40 permit which gives you access to an exploration licence..plenty of info at mines department website...it usually takes 28 days before you're granted permission, so it's best to organise it early.. persist and you will get your nugget👍🍺

Fantastic, my coil i my car broke down 8 kilometres from the highway yesterday and I had to walk up hill and down in 35C heat, got back in phone rang and had a mate come and get me, had a spare coil at home, put that in this morning and off I went, every muscle is killing me, I have been chasing an ironstone reef as it goes underground then appears a kilometre or so away, found that reapperance yesterday at the end of the day then the car died, I had put the DD coil on the 6000 and went back to a spot I had found gold in before, got a heap of tacks and rubbish, just goes to show, I will switch back to the 11 inch next trip once I have recovered, good to see you gave the large nugget back to mum, howdy mum how are you going good I hope, keep cleaning out those patches. Did I tell you I got a 43.95gm speci the other day, soaking it in hydrochloric acid it is just about due to take it out and see what it looks like, have a good day.

That speci sounds amazing Leon, would love to see it mate, sounds like you need to find a Bigger speci and buy a new car😂 Stay Safe out there bud, we use a Zoleo device which allows you to send messages on your phone via satellite and you can send your GPS co-ords as well.. something to think about. I Had to climb about 20 meters up a big old gumtree on top a hill about 5 years ago when my car battery broke down just to get a signal out for help...I was Lucky that day. At least I was on a patch and kept finding gold until help came😂👍🍻

Just found your channel and watched all the vids on it. I want to subscribe but I’m having trouble with the continuous sound of your detector. It muffles your voice and I miss a lot of the information, it really detracts from your clips. In saying that, I’m really glad to see another Aussie channel of adventurers and look forward to seeing and HEARING about your trips. Perhaps a set of headphones that you can plug in and take off when you want to let your audience hear those beautiful gold sounds. Good luck and im looking forward to seeing more.

Hey mate, I don't know if anyone is running tours out of Kal. If you have a look through Facebook you might Find someone that does tours, but its pretty hard going as it is right now. I know Tony from Goldtalk Leonora does training courses but not too sure about the details. Cheers mate🍻
