A push in doesn't necessarily mean camera movement. A push in is used to focus the viewer's attention on a certain part of the screen, like a zoom lens that's, well... zooming. Parallax would mean we're flying towards that part of the screen which to me would give the scene a more action-y feel where you might not need that, especially since it would be so "showy".

Great effect. Since you mentioned parallax so many times, I watched closely for it, and it does look like zooming in on a painting. I suppose you could mask off areas and make some parts move faster that others that way.

The lack of parallax is no big deal, often people shoot 4k to deliver 1080p and add zooms/pans in post and there is no parallax.

Starting November 1 you'll have limited use of the Generative stuff as they are rolling out Generative credits. You get something like 500. Too bad it doesn't generate locally on the machine itself. Macs aren't powerful enough for that maybe?

That’s sad to hear 😮, what the heck, the monthly CC subscription isn’t enough now? I can see them introducing then higher and higher tiers trying to squeeze all this AI craze (which in all fairness, it’s mindblowing). Macs are definitely powerful enough, there’s this app “DrawThings” that uses CoreML and neural engines, can run SDXL locally even on iPads (M1 and up only I think). Sure thing it takes more than 40 seconds the very few things I have tried, more like a minute and a half for the most part but I would rather it takes 2mins and have infinite variations than be credits limited… I really don’t know why most of the AI endeavors always default to cloud and online when there’s potentially a video card or neural engine ready there to run it. I’m still amazed by this and feel it’s like magic, so for sure I might be oversimplifying the situation here.
