Crowd manegment should be happen.. Like every devotee has to register to go to Vaisno Devi and to go to Kedarnath. Same as before going to every tourist place, registrations are done from the authority so that there can be crowd management, otherwise there will be no door on that day when there is a stempede happen. I'm from Banara And after seeing Dev-Diwali of Banaras, I feel every now and then that one day there will be a stempede on this festival.

Doesn't matter if you are capable to pay the rent amount.... This is due to salary gap and job security difference between government and private jobs... Idk when in india, some government would focus to normalise and equalise the salary of both private and government sector and when minimum pay scale, safety wise rules & regulations will be implemented in job sector...

Over-tourism takes a toll on every aspect of an otherwise smoothly-running destination 😮. It affects the environment, the man-made resources, the food, lodging and transport. I think there must be a strict number of visitors beyond which nobody should be entertained. For foreign destinations, the number of visas issued to travellers show be limited.

Problem is irresponsible citizen ..who actually belongs to deprived area, acquire education, money and then never return back to their native places, don't even feel responsible enough to beautify their own local area.. instead encroaches others local area and destroys others environment and culture too. Many states have such people, and even though they are rich and developed but their states are so underdeveloped. I hate overtourism .. Be responsible.. your local area your soil is your responsibility, don't run from it. And just because u have money stop destroying others culture.

Shillong & Cherrapunji Meghalaya is on the verge of Collapse due to Overtourism. Roads are always packed with vehicles especially vehicles from neighbouring Assam causing huge Traffic Jams. The worst part is that 95 percent Tourists don't contribute anything to the Local economy except local environmental destructions, especially Tourists from Kolkata West Bengal who comes in groups of 50, 60 in huge Buses and bring everything with them like cooking utensils, foods etc. they stay at the Youth hostel costing 150rs per bed, they bring everything and don't buy anything from the local businesses, they come, throw garbage and go back. We don't want Tourists like that.
