I'm 16 dude and I couldn't agree more. I'm a drummer,guitarist,and bassist and i'm hoping to do something with music but all this as you say booty shaking crap is making harder than it already was to get your foot in the door. I've been hugely inspired by bands like jawbreaker,operation ivy,rise against,a day to remember,streetlight manifesto,rise against,etc. most punk,punk/rock,pop/punk,post hardcore,etc. Glad to see there's some hope left for my generation.
