@@nilsmadej9091 Where is this hate of Turkey you speak of? Muslims coming as fake refugees from Middle East are NOT Ottomans/Turks but Arabs and totally different to Turks/Ottomans. Poland has no hatred towards Turkey or Muslims at all as many descendants of Lipka Tatars still live in Poland and still worship in Mosques. Poland simply does not want the Jihadist Muslims in Poland as any sensible country (that counts most of Europe out) would do. Why do you think Poland is the only European Nation that has NOT suffered an Islamic Terrorist attack? The answer is simple, they choose who comes and lives in Poland unlike Europe which allows terrorists to come into their countries disguised as refugees. Only Central and Eastern Europeans now exclude Arabic Muslims as they have always been the trouble makers in the Middle East. Western Europe is so afraid of being called racist etc they have allowed millions of trouble makers into Europe and one day they will reap what they have sown. Then they will call on Central and Eastern Europe to save their backsides yet again.

100 yıl boyunca, yani 17. yüzyılın tamamı boyunca birbirimizle savaştık. Birçok insan öldü. 100 yıllık savaşın ardından sınır bir santim bile değişmedi. Yani hepsi gereksizdi.

By coming to the aid of Vienna and ensuring the defeat of the Ottomans, Sobiesky unknowingly humiliated Austria. Although the Austrians seemed grateful to Poland, they secretly held a grudge against Poland and participated in the partition of Poland in 1792. Hitler, who invaded Poland in World War II, was also Austrian. It is necessary to think about this issue.

"in a normal country, the king is the king!! and you rule yourself here!!" People joined the Polish hussari for their own money. The equipment of one soldier was worth three villages. Serving for Poland was an honor. At a time when imperialism and colonialism ruled the world, a free nation lived in the middle of Europe. Poland He was invaded by 3 empires to defeat him. Each empire tried separately, but no one alone could do it. Poland lost the fight for democratic Russia and Germany ... and Austria, which was saved by Poles from the attack of the Turks, stabbed Poles in the back.

Correct. Prussian, Russian and Austrian Empires divided Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth and wiped it off the map as they were afraid the rest of Europe would follow Poland towards democracy rather than continue the feudal dictatorships Kings, Queens and Tsars/Tsarinas. As a result Europe remained in wars up till ww2 and it is not over yet. Once again a World War will visit Western Europe and i wonder who they will have save them this time.

The Ottoman-Polish wars in the 17th century, no doubt, were a zero sum game for both parites. At the end of the day, Russia, Austria and Prussia have benefitted from these conflicts and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth were divided among these kingdoms. Poland made some fatal mistakes as it overtrusted and leaned on the Habsburg power against the Turks. It was the Turkic balance of power to keep Poland standing against both Russian and Germanic rules, which later on destroyed the Polish Kingdom. Whenever the Ottoman horses drink the water of Wisla river once again, then Poland would be saved from the partition. An old Polish saying put the geopolitical reality as it was and the Polish envoy requested the Ottoman help from the Sultan in the late 18th century. The Ottoman Empire was the only state then, which never recognized the partition of Poland although the Polish garrison led by Jean Sobieskiy prevented the Ottoman conquest of Vienna a century before. Adam Miskiewicz, a Polish diplomat and poet in the 19th century Ottoman İstanbul, knew all these realities and supported the full-fledged Turco-Polska alliance. So, we are happy to see that our cooperation is increasing again with the endeavors of Erdoğan and Duda leaderships now a-days. Greetings from Turkey to our oldest friend and brave enemy in Europe, Lehistan!
@saintsone787710 ай бұрын
Poland was never really an enemy of the Ottomans only an adversary. After Vienna a few more battles took place but eventually a treaty was signed and the Ottomans honoured that treaty to this day. Poland and Turkey may be old adversaries but will never be enemies. Poland remembers the Ottoman officials always leaving a chair for the Polish delegation whenever a conference was held in Europe with Turkey involved. Once the German Ambassador attempted to embarrass Poland by asking why there was a chair and the Ottoman envoy replied" They are on their way but have been delayed" which shut the German Ambassador up for the rest of the conference. Honourable adversaries never enemies.

There is something I want to learn from my Polish friends: What kind of independence struggle did the Polish people wage during the years of World War I?!. They had to fight against both the Germans and the Russians. It must be a tough fight. An armed uprising? Did they conduct intense diplomacy? I'm asking specifically about before and after the 1917 Russian-Bolshevik revolution. Did they contribute to the process leading to the Russian Revolution, or did the new administration that changed with the Russian Revolution recognize Poland's independence? I would like to know.
