Every CTE Album has its own vibe. Retrograde was a great album imo and the retro futuristic feel of it was amazing! Yeah, i miss limitless/The Fallout/Rise Of The Runaways sound but Retrograde was also good. Seems the new album is following Retrograde’s footsteps and I don’t mind at all! Can’t wait!

Something I've been thinking about: There's a line in this song that says "We halt and catch fire." Halt And Catch Fire was a TV series from 2014-2017 about the arms race to build PCs and develop the Internet in the 80s-90s. That's very interesting, given how the two videos so far from this album are very technology/laboratory centric.

Makeshift Chemistry (The Fallout) was the first album Andy and Dave did together. I also originally found them before that one from the Limitless EP and I love the originals, those were really my shit back in the day, and I didn't really like the re-released versions. I like the band with Dave but Andy is amazing on his own though. They weren't very big before The Fallout I don't think, I remember checking their facebook and seeing they had risen to 400k likes and being like holy shit :o (pretty sure they were only at like 30k when I first found them) I still fucking love the original Limitless, its a classic to me.
