You might not like the new album. But you can't lie Rise of the Lion has some really awesome guitar work. Some of the best metalcore has seen in awhile. I love the old school thrash elements thrown in.

The vocal/lyric structure is different from their past albums, I'm trying to decide if I like that part. However, the instrumental structure is, really quite good. I don't know, I feel like the lyric structure is lacking in this album, like, it's not flowing with the Instrumental line(s), but the Instrumental lines are fine. I still have the rest of the Album to listen to, but I'm having mixed feelings... If all the makes sense... I like the Instrumental structure, but the vocal/lyric structure, ehhh, still deciding.

I kind of agree, the lyrics seem to repeat too much, or they're too simple. I feel like the lyrical structure on Apologies was a little too complex, and they were just right on At Heart, and now they're too simplified. Still diggin' the cd though!

at heart was good, but they never played any higher notes, to me it felt like they focused more on the lower end sound to be heavy. It was not as melodic on the guitar, but it was still alright. I like this album a lot though

I have very mixed feelings about this album. Its not their best, but its not horrible like some people to say, but its not the best I will agree.
