Sorry TalkTv but failed this time. Thoroughly enjoy all programmes you put out including Piers show but this was tame. At a time the country needs a robust unrelenting interview with the Prime Minister being grilled and held to account and really put under pressure we get this waffle, Piers has given vegan protestors a harder time on his show than the man responsible for the country. Bitterly disappointed at the end of this as it was a pointlesss watch.

I am in no way medically qualified, I took my father to the GP because he didn't want to to bother A&E. I was terrified because I thought my father had taken a stroke. He was sent home and in hospital before his next appointment with a stroke. I swear to this day my father had taken the stroke and it was brushed off. He worked his whole life and is now destroyed.

Oh you think that's bad? It gets so much worse. My partner's colleague had a stroke at work, they called an ambulance, and said that they were told if the patient is responsive and not at risk of death they were not allowed to transport them by ambulance to the hospital. His cousin had to take him. He has had TWO strokes already, a third could easily have killed him. I had a cardiac event, with the family history I thought I was having a heart attack. Because of my age (21), the 999 operator told me they couldn't send an ambulance out but that I needed to get to AnE within the hour. If it's urgent enough that I need to be at AnE within an hour, I think it's urgent enough to send an ambulance, no? This country's healthcare system is shocking. In America, they at least know that everything possible will be done to treat them because it lines pockets. In this country, the management staff don't get paid enough to care.

I miss Jeremy Paxman and Andrew Neil, people who actually know how to interview a politician and ask difficult questions. These questions are pathetically weak and open ended and allow him to ramble on and on. Piers is nowhere near as good of a journalist as he thinks he is. The government are doing absolutely f all about the mortgage time bomb, they could introduce longer minimum fixed periods for mortgages for one. The fact people have to remortgage after 5 years is absolute madness and only benefits the banks. This leads to the situation we are in where people are about to come off fixed term rates and not be able to afford to live because of their payments. Having a longer term would protect people from short term fluctuations in interest rates.

I trust much more Sunak than Starmer. I heard both of them and labour are only wanting to do what has already been done but did not work like putting more border officers. The issue is not there, the issue is where to send the migrants back. For the rest of his aspiration it was unclear and empty. Though labour put forward net zero. I remind that Spain is without rain for month now and suffer of drought. Labour has a plan there. Sunak in the other side, as he say, has a proper team around him and I feel that he is a people's person (no matter the stupid 1000£ bet story). I feel that although not everything is going well at this time, he did give out money to the poorest. We really need the minimum average to reflect the cost of rents. It is not acceptable to work full time for a salary that does not pay minimum needs. Well... voting Sunak with the hope that he will align with labour on energy and that he will aline our salaries to what they meant to be for: living. AND THE NHS!!!
