Something I think I have overlooked but have recognized is that Janet, the first owner of Rising Star had really opened her heart to this situation as far as KZbin and Rising Stars social profile. Janet lost her mare to colic immediately after the birth of Rising Star and then he immediately came to Uniek and she fostered him whole heartedly. Although Uniek gained a foster son and Yvonne and we as members of this channel embraced Rising Star, there is a part of me that recognizes that Janet not only lost her mare, she also had to come to grips with the foal being adopted by another family. Janet - I will say to you that I recognize your loss but both mare and foal are loved. Thank you for your selfless act and contributing to the awareness of foals that are orphaned. I know that God appreciates you’re selfless act and know that this foal gas contributed greatly to humanity. Thank you Janet.

When we look at the side of Rising Star's face and structure, he looks different from the Friesian Horse face and structure. To me, Rising Star is still our precious blessed baby for Uniek. He is growing, but has a Special Way about him! I cannot forget the First Day Rising Star was brought to Uniek...to see Uniek prance her front feet...I could imagine her heart bursting with Love, after her heart was breaking over her loss. It seems, that Sjors didn't like the situation two days before. He tries to protect "his" mares against the cheeky young horses. Rising Star isn't that shy to the other foals, anymore. And it is interesting, that the herd of young mares is most of the time very close together. The older horses have more personal space between each other.

Who said horses aren't nosy?? 🤣 First the whole herd is far away doing their own thing, but immediately when Yvonne begins doing something with the fence and lowers her camera for 2 seconds..there are horses everywhere inches away from her, looking like "Watcha doing? Do you have food?" 🤣 ... The other thing that always amazes me is how she knows the horses so well! To me it STILL is "lots of horses..and Uniek and Rising Star". And Yvonne just casually walks among dozen horses that to me look exactly the same and immediately knows each one's name. Amazing. 😬

I saw Uniek lift her back leg to tell Rising Star "not now" when he wanted to nurse - how do the mares seem to know when it's time to wean their foals? I'm so impressed and intrigued by how these Magnificent Horses seem to know things we humans don't - unless RS hasn't been nursing as much or as often during the summer? I'm so impressed by how big and healthy all of the foals are - especially "our boy" - we adopted him into our hearts 💕 as surely as we've adopted you, Yvonne, and Queen Uniek, Geerte, and your precious little boys: Rein and Teije! Rein, senior, Rein - the tween, Senna, and Black Panther - have all been adopted!! So many of the other foals, yearlings, two year olds and three year olds plus individual unique mares have been taken into our hearts 💕💞 as well! That playful moment between Risy and RJ made me smile Risy puts his ears back telling him to stop then goes to Yvonne right after with his teddy bear ears forward asking for cuddles and reassurance that is so sweet. You know you’ve fully earned an animal’s trust when they actively seek you out before going to mem for milk it’s amazing to see. I like the way RS comes to you with his need to connect. He's such a pretty boy. Queen Uniek isn't as accepting of his need for her milk as she was for a long time. I guess that's weaning time for him. Thanks for your posts. The horses are so very beautiful. I love Fresians. I saw some at the State Fair one time and in person they're the epitomie of beauty.

OMG! Thank you! No, I didn't know you bought Rising Star and I was mourning for him and Queen Uniek! I hope he will continue to live and nurse with his mom, but he does need to interact with other future stallions. Interaction with playmates will teach him how to stallion and build his strength and skill. Ah, he has Rinse Janko! Too bad Johnny is not a Friesian. Such a beautiful pony.

Yvonne has already said that Rising Star will be separated from the mares and fillies to finish growing up with the colts. They play rougher and establish their own pecking order fairly quickly so they're able to grow up pretty safely. I don't believe you should geld a colt until their full grown, please correct me if I'm wrong, but in dogs and cats it can cause health problems later on if their bodies haven't fully matured first. Besides Rising Star's a pedigree horse son of two Champion Dressage Horses and in all likelihood he's probably inherited some genetics and talents that could make him become a Champion in his own right! That would certainly be a way to one day honor his mother's, Ziffora, Stable and his father, Chantel's lineage and keep their bloodline going!! So maybe waiting until Rising Star's at least 3 years old and seeing what his temperament is like then and how he does training for Dressage - since Yvonne's quite talented with that too, before thinking about gelding a healthy young Stallion in the making, would be best?

I like they way the young horses across the wire from Yvonne all lined up looking for a bit of attention whether it's a head scratch, a cuddle or hug, anything. They just want a little attention. RS seems to sense his status has changed, that he won't have to leave and go to another place after he is weaned off of Mom (Uniek) and he acts much more attached to Yvonne. Just me putting my thoughts in a foals head. Great video, very enjoyable.

When all the horses were in a line waiting for caresses 😄 it was very funny! 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎 Rising Star is a magical horse 😍 his skin looks like velvet 🥰 it musst be very soft. I love the way he still waits Uniek nursing him to feel security 😊and when he doesn't have attention from Uniek, no problem, he goes to his other mama: Yvonne 😄❤ And Johny has a lot of personality, he acts like saying: "Look ladys, I'm a georgeus specimen, you better love me, because you couldn't have a better option" 😂😂😂🐎❤
