An arrogant prince with an unshakable sense of self righteousness, who cared only about obtaining an eternal life. What's funny is a similar fate befell Beerus, in that his planet was cursed with dark magic that could contaminate the afterlife...so he had to erase everyone there. With his immortality, he had to bear witness to the True Death of billions by his own hand while coping with his brother's resentment. It's bittersweet that he passes the mantle to someone also bound by sorrow. They both knew the consequences and still volunteered for their universe.

@Originz Fishing That and also, if Zamasu is any example, I believe there is a common sort of tendency for gods to think themselves above mortals, when really, in terms of morality, they might as well be the same thing. They gloat about how above mortal affairs they are, but they still fight, they still haggle, and they still whine and cry and crave entertainment. The only thing in the Dragon Ball universe that really separates gods from mortals is power, and when that gap is closed, whether by Goku beating Zamasu in a fight or Bulma basically making her own Super Dragon Balls, it scares them, because they don't like the idea of being knocked off of their high horse. Vegeta, having been a mortal and learned humility, is the best kind of god, and will make a fine one imo.

While the series has always placed a heavy focus on the kind of planet-busting and mountain-shattering feats of strength of much of the series' cast, sometimes people forget that while there are many characters who possess such power, Bulma's intellect is singularly unique. A woman who was able to pilot and reverse-engineer alien tech in no time, build technology that could track magical relics, and even replicate alien armor with the same ease as a child tossing a baseball, Bulma has been either at the center or closely orbiting the the nucleus of every conflict in the main story. A genius to surpass the gods themselves, it only makes sense that the world's smartest woman could connect with one of the two strongest men. Bulma's wittiness and rebellious personality is on full display, and you captured the nature of a woman who's tenacity and ability to change with the challenge makes her the equal of the Z Warriors in her own right. Without her, neither Goku or Vegeta could have risen to rival and even surpass gods. Additionally, your inclusion of the ritual necessary for a Destroyer to be succeeded and the rules regarding their immortality felt right at home in the Dragon Ball universe. And just as a more personal note, I enjoyed that you finally nixed the Dragon Balls as people's cheat code for immortality and resurrection. It had gotten to the point of being one of Dragon Ball Z Abridged's most prolific running jokes. Thank you for that. You are a skilled and truly talented person. And when someone writes something that I love, I just dive headfirst into it. When a person truly understands a story and then produces a logical continuation of it, they deserve praise. Both this and Goku's last day fit right in with the lore of the franchise and the spirit of the characters. It takes true talent to mesh something like this.
