Thanks for the lecture Jared! I will always appreciate the time and effort you put into these FREE quality lectures when there is very little in it for you. I've watched just about every lecture on this channel and I've watched several of them more than once and I will continue to do so.

FYI, you need to fix your "Risk" units slide, and spell "answer" not ANWER. Just pointing it out for the future. Great info. Cutting losses should be #2 on everyone's list after getting a gameplan for wins. You'll make yourself more happy cutting losses than you ever will letting a winner run.

As a new trader, how you get familiar with the ATR and the average volume of a stock, so at scanning you can tell if the stock is still on its ATR and has more volume than usual?

I lost a lot of money before my brain finally understood that i had to practice before i can performe. I learned with 1% risk on a 200€ account for 3 years. Now im risking 3% on a 5 figure account, sometimes 6% if there is an incredible opportunity but happens only maybe once a month. Thank you jared for changing my life over the years

Potential tip for traders that are handy with coding: since I used to be the same moron everybody is in the beginning...."hard stops" were not hard for me at all.... Yes, they were in the system but I would just change them on a whim. KILLER. Then (I use MT5) I coded a trademanager that WILL NOT allow me to change stops for 24hs after the trade. (i.e: hard became HARD) Don´t ask me please were to get it etc because a) I would never be as rude to Jared to plug products in his comment section b) I don't sell anything I code c) if you spend some time you can do it on your own for free. shortly put: the risk of making emotional decisions AFTER entering a trade can be 100% eliminated by code that simpy will make it impossible for you.

You should make the entry, stop, target chart into a T-shirt. 🛸 Great lecture Jarred.

After fees, how do you make money taking a $5-$10 risk trade. You'd need to go 200x

0 if you're new, trade simulator. Trade your plan 1-3 percent acct 1-2 risk to reward min after the sim succeeds. Or just hell, Mary it. It's like buying 10k in lotto tickets with a .00000000000001 chance of success or less.

How are we supposed to risk only $10 per trade? Even buying just one contract would carry a risk of at least $100, assuming the stop loss was placed properly.
@tylerwilliams56415 ай бұрын
He’s probably talking about whole shares
@jamesjobe43075 ай бұрын
Risk to reward ratio. $10/spread = shares. Keeps you safe. Yes, your shares Qty can be low, but you won't lose more than $10.

Doesn’t work with futures either…Contracts are too expensive! Good info tho!

.10 cent stop/risk = 100 shares = $10. Understand basic math if you are getting into this business
