Hi Rob, isn't Compensating control considered a Safe Guard and not a Counter-Measure? According to Page 51 of your Destination CISSP book, it was stated as such.

Authentication, not confidentiality. Pretending to be someone else = authentication. (ref: page 60 of the Dest Cert book)

Just as a reminder: You can’t really avoid a risk. Even if you use a parachute…it can be that the parachute is not working.

Yes you can, this refers to specific risks, not risk in general. You want to the avoid the risk of being in a car accident, do ride in a car. It's that simple. You want to mitigate the risk, wear a seatbelt, at some point you must accept the risk that is left over, assuming you do not choose to avoid it altogether.

Our healthcare system sucks but Canada's healthcare is even worse when it comes to wait times, The annual Fraser Institute study this year reports a median wait time of 27.4 weeks for Canadians to get treatment after a family doctor referral. It showed that you have to wait over 100 days for a hip replacement! That's insane to sit around in pain for that long.

Your videos are very informative. But I would stay out of political side comments about other countries, especially if you don't live or pay taxes for that country. As an educator, you must be unbiased when teaching. I personally LOVE guns. My president and your prime minister have body guards that carry guns all the time to protect them. I am sure theyvdont walk without weapons. Do they? I don't see the problem here of owning a gun. Guns don't kill, people kill each other. Just saying 😅

Absolutely agree @utube5033! Thank God for the 2nd amendment to the US constitution! Because with out it, our first amendment, to voice our beliefs and opinions, would surly be taken away. Then we would be like Russia or China where we are put in prison for openly expressing our beliefs and opinions or for even having a free thought! Especially relating to the government! Oh, wait a minute... just found this regarding Canada -> nypost.com/2024/03/14/opinion/canada-wants-to-put-you-in-prison-before-you-commit-a-thoughtcrime/
