As to the "ukulele" part of the song name, ukulele is an item/power up in both games. It's a great item and kinda iconic for risk of rain so as a final boss theme, it's a pun on "You're gonna need a bigger gun" : ) Edit: lol the reason I didn't include these other facts that are being left in the replies is bc Jesse hasn't played ror2 so I was only giving the bare knowledge since he inquired a little on the song name : ) Also, yea it could be more-so referencing "You're gonna need a bigger boat."

@@Rokkettdog it's ironically not a very good item for the boss in question since it's good for multiple enemies and otherwise does nothing when it's a single enemy. There's a little bit of that going on in the fight but it's not that important. I'm sure you know this, just explaining for those who may not be familiar!

The main melody of this song comes from a track in the original game called Double Fucking Rainbow. Its also the intro to The Face of the Deep, which i believe you’ve listened to on the channel. Its kind of the “final boss motif”

One thing about this theme is it has distinct "phases" that match up with the phases of the boss fight. The second phase he enters a "desperation" mode and starts summoning enemies while attacking you from afar, so it mutes out and gets quieter. Phase 3 he returns and steals all of your items, being a MAJOR source of power in the game, and as you damage the third phase you slowly regain these items unless his new items just let him one shot you 🙃
