About this game:
Ether Loop is a hardcore fast-paced bullet hell with roguelike elements. Descend unforgiving depths, encounter challenges, discover dynamic environments and fight ruthless creatures while unveiling the secrets of a mysterious world.
Stuck in an endless loop, the only way out is to break the double-edged curse and help Ether escape his fate. In an ever-changing environment, every run feels like it's own story. This looks excellent. I like the surprise mini bosses and bullet hell style. I think they might want to add breakables and maybe some traps in the rooms. Just a bit of variety. Perhaps punch up the enemy sprites and animation a bit.

It def feels like flash super meat boy. Short, not a lot of variety, meh visuals, but soooooo much promise and fun. A little more money and time and i could definitely see this being a GOTY for 2020 or 2021.

My only problem with the "looks" is the animations. There's no feedback or impact on shots. Your bullets just kind of fly out of you, it doesn't feel like you are actually shooting. Same with enemies, bullets just kind of fly out of them.

Hana O. Ya it’s not the sharpest but the environments, enemies, projectiles, and your character are all very easy to read so it definitely has a good design sense

I love that you can start a new run up INSTANTLY right after you die... there's literally 0 down time between runs and i don't think any other roguelite is like that

The runs in noita are as long as you make them. There's a lot of health buffs in secret areas I dont enjoy getting on every run. I normally dont explore entire levels as well, so my runs take like 30-45 minutes where as some peoples take like 1-2 hours.

This game showed me that there's a difference between the description on crack, and crackhead. The game looks like fun it's a crackhead version of Gungeon.

First thing that instantly comes to mind, similarly to Gungeon gameplay, is switching to controller instead of keyboard. You are effectively limiting your dodges to the 8 possible directions instead of complete freedom which will cost many runs in any rogue* :)

I like it as a first impression, but my biggest "complaint" from this video would be visual clarity, everything seems a bit small(?), even with big text boxes, also the terrain thats super bright and obscures your character, but doesnt impair movement in any way just irks me, looks too cluttered for a bullet heck game. Other than that it looks like a must try for me

What I personally really would like is some kind of meta progression like make it so you can slowly work your way through different starting weapon tiers, or something like that, that doesnt nessesariely male stuff easier, but might give you the tools for a different approach which micht result in more ease as solving a room or something like that. Tho I don't know how long this game overall is, but yeah... just my 2c on it

The 3rd area had a really shitty design decision. Blue enemies on a blue and white background with blue and white projectiles. At least make the background a darker blue to distinguish hazards. Was so hard for me to see what was going on. Other than that criticism, game looks really good. Not a fan of bullet hell games, so I wouldn't buy. Would recommend to anyone that like bullet hell roguelikes.

Not saying that you are wrong, but don't you think that is a decision made because it would increase difficulty in a way other than adding more bullets? For me it's not much of an issue when I do get to the third zone, it just requires a bit more focus.
