@UVStd
@UVStd 4 жыл бұрын
@@jadtarhini4311 He could've consolidated his position when he was holding both americas instead of continuing the attack and couple more that i don't really remember right now. Players often neglect doing that, if one of your opponents is holding AU and one of them even doesn't hold any continent and neither is in the position to attack you and you are holding both americas you don't attack you just wait and strengthen your army. This must always be done in these kinds of situations. If you can even hold this advantage for one turn you automatically become strongest player if you were 3 equals before that. And if they don't attack you for another turn you win. That easy.

Do u mind explaining a little in depth on the difference between fixed and progressive because all I have ever played is fixed
@Risk4Ever
@Risk4Ever 4 жыл бұрын
In progressive cards the value of sets goes after every traded set, starting with 4 and ending with 60. And in fixed cards, the value of sets are always fixed, 4 troops for infantry, 6 troops for cavalry, 8 troops for artillery, 10 troops for all three. In progressive cards the most important thing is cards. You become stronger by taking opponents after opponents out when it's for their cards. If you cannot take your opponent out, then you should avoid attacking them at any cost, as it will just be a waste of troops. In progressive cards is important to be spread out well enough, so it will be hard to take you out. When the value of sets become high, then continents don't really mean anything, so if you didn't get one in the beginning of the game, then don't waste your troops on any of them, they shouldn't be your main aim in progressive card games, as they mean nothing compared to cards. In fixed cards the most important thing is the balance of the game. Players shouldn't let that someone become way too strong. So your goal should be to help others to attack the strongest player balancing the game. Or differently you should be looking for a way on how to become the strongest player by yourself. The diplomacy is another part of the game, so alliances could help you a lot, but they should never be taken too seriously. There are basically 2 main ways to win at fixed: 1st one is by becoming the strongest player by expanding and successfully holding multiple continents, becoming much more stronger than anybody else; 2nd one is by becoming friends with basically everyone, turtling in your continent, and waiting till everyone destroy themselves too much, waiting the moment then you will have more troops than your opponents combined. But of course, you shouldn't always stay neutral, if you see that someone is becoming too strong, then you should help players to attack the strongest player. 2nd way is the most common way to win playing with low ranked players, since a lot of them try to use the 1st way to become the strongest, so they destroy themselves attacking each other way too much and don't even realize that they give a game for another player. Check this video out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYvPamadnNx6q8U It will make pro at progressive cards 😎

Yeah, if I see someone turtling I either attack them or just sit back and let the other players take over. Turtle man doesn't do so hot when a player starts taking over multiple continents while he's only getting his Australia bonus. Really if someone is going to sit there and do nothing I'm sure as hell not going to fight their battles for them.

That happens a lot. Bots are so dumb that if you can take out the other human players usually you can beat the bots unless their numbers are just overwhelming. I mean if a bot has a 3 to 1 advantage it often doesn't matter because they leave their borders wide open and don't attack to take away bonuses. The key against a strong bot is to smash it's continent bonuses and take over as much territory as possible and not let yourself get boxed in. I've complained endlessly about the AI in Risk, it's completely worthless.

What is your win loss ratio
@Risk4Ever
@Risk4Ever 4 жыл бұрын
I have 1669 online wins and 1213 online losses on my main account. But it's really hard to talk about the ratio itself, it can be totally different depending on what games do I play. Like do I play 1v1 or multiplayer, 4 player game or 6 player one, fixed or progressive, with low ranked players or high ranked ones, public games or games with subscribers. So it can very vary depending what type of games and which players do I play with.
