This video is great... that overtake instead of choking your motor was epic. Take it, it was a reed valve... the surge of power top end looks great. What model was it? You would have had that guy if it wasn't for the TKMs eh?

haha thanks! Motor is a VL/CW circa 2002 reed valve. Lovely little motor although was still getting on top of it and the chassis that weekend! Yeh the TKMs didn't help that weekend but in fairness they were busy having their own race!

It looks seriously quick...what was you revving it to? I saw you using an Vortex RVA on one of your other videos. Is that one better? Love the noise... makes you wince watching it 😅

P.s. when you hand choke a reed like this are you just using fingers above the airbox. It doesn't look like it's as much as I expected.

I used to race at Rissington in 100 Britain and then 100C, my Dino kart would tip onto 2 wheels through the chicane at the end of the straight, meant I could go inside people who didnt leave room as the inside wheels would hover over the kerb ! What was not fun though was that it would also do it on the 2nd of the fast rh corners after this....that was scary !

I would have said a little more than fucking hell at the start lol. You've got balls of steel and that's coming from someone who has ridden a blackbird to 160mph haha
