I think it's because of all the different projectiles he produces, like the music notes, the falling stars, and the feathers. All of those kind of attacks tend to chip at your health over time if you're not careful.

To be fair, having a singing voice so bad that it _warps_ the background and the music is a neat touch. But compared to some of the other bosses in the game, Awaueck is the odd bird out. :D

Damn, 9 year-old me definitely couldn't have pulled that off - especially Twin Freaks in Dynamite Headdy. :D
