Oh my goodness! I was a portrait artist at an amusement park in Ohio as well back in the 70's, not Cedar Point and most likely around the same time as you. We did the same thing with the lecturer's chalk. The same steps. We did not have that point system though.... we were paid by portrait. It was a fun time. I learned to do a very fast portrait...I was timed at doing it in 3 minutes.

Very cool! Was it by chance Geauga Lake? I think there was a Sea World across the lake too. I never worked there, but Tricia Kaman (founder of Kaman's Art Shoppes) started off there I think. Yep, what a fun job for a young person huh? I think my fastest time was 2 min 10 seconds... but that was most likely a little boy with straight blonde hair lol!
