Rita McKenzie, star of Ethel Merman's Broadway ,appearing in the Los Angeles production of the Broadway musical "Ruthless"! See Rita perform the show-stopping number, "I Hate Musicals." It's fabulous. An original cast album was produced, and copies are still out there.

I thought it was Ethel Merman when I heard it on the Broadway channel on Sirius XM. That is, until I saw it was recorded in 1994.

Rita McKenzie actually played Ethel Merman in the 90’s I think and again in the 2010’s in her one woman show, “Ethel Merman’s Broadway”, which she was incredible in! 🤩
