I remember her on Ed Sullivan very well. She made a number of appearances and all were highly anticipated. Back in the 1960’s she was a worldwide star. Those that criticize her today just don’t know what a “star” she was back then.

One of those gems that never gets airplay on mainstream oldies stations anymore. They just keep playing the same old stuff. For one who was initially unknown to crack the top 40 during the year of the Beatles it was no small feat. She sure got one heck of an applause and well deserved.

In the mid 60's i guess every adult was crazy in Europe about her singin' Talent. I was too young anyway...on the Radio Station listening...btw most of all her and a whole lotta Beatles Songs; that's the reason why i don't like both Music; never ever!..can't stand it!
