The picture on the cover comes from Stanisław Szukalski, unique Polish painter and sculptor from the early XXth century and interwar period. He was very important in bringing back the native slavic heritage back to the public.

I need more shit like this. I think the production level/style is just where it needs to be. The album has bass and a stereo field, perfectly listenable without having to be over-produced Nuclear Blast generica. The drumming is textured and dynamic. No obnoxious quirks about the vocals. This is the sound that got me into black metal 15 years ago, and it's why I still come around.

Yeah, you're right. The production on this is about perfect, and still extremely raw and heavy. Most of the big labels (nb, cm, som, etc) way over produce trying to make weak bands music sound somewhat heavy, failing miserably everytime.

In terms of newer bands that I might like if I enjoyed this what would you reccomend I listen to? I used to be super super super into this type of music in highschool and it's prettymuch the only style of guitar I know how to play but I feel like I tend to fall too much into the old school and not trendy or posery enough,basically want to see what other people doing similar types of stuff are doing or see what people are into in terms of black metal atm since I am actually into the older bands. Trying to flesh out my sound a bit more. Just anything new that you liked or what's like up and coming. I guess that's like marketing or whatever but I'm trying to make shit people will like.

Wordless. There are alot of new bands pushing the boundaries of extreme metal. I listen to alot (probably atleast 100 bands) different bands every week, most are decent, some are OK and maybe ten bands out of 100 are exceptional. KZbin algorithm does a good job recommending new metal all the time, I never have to search for music. Btw, all the new bands that are exceptional are blending punk with black metal for the best extreme music.

Yeah this is awesome and I'd love to buy it but sold out on cassette and no digital download that I've seen. I get it, you want to be "cvlt", but we live in 2024 and technology exists? Let me throw a few dollars at a Bandcamp site for a download. This level of "cvlt" feels more like "I smell my own farts in my Tesla and twiddle my waxed moustache while wearing a 1930s-era newspaper boy hat". Cassette only isn't cvlt, my guys, it's just tedious......
