RIU Hotel Full Review and Tour - Negril Jamaica, JA - Carrebbean

Before booking this five-star all-inclusive resort hotel in Negril Jamaica you may want to watch this video which takes you on a full, complete, and comprehensive tour of the property while providing a review of all it has to offer. Me and my wife will be going back to the hotel in April from the U.K. for the fifth time since I retired i like snorkelling just of the beach and we love going to visit the beach huts and taking to the locals we have been to a few places around the world but we find Jamaica has becoming a second home to use and is just what we want from a holiday not to quite but if you want you can join in with the fun and games and the staff work hard to make you happy 😊

was there last week. The internet sucked BIG TIME!!! The food was so-so... a little on the salty side. Drinks were ok, except for the cappuccino i always ask for from the sports bar with extra rum cream. Yummmmmm!!! Always leave a tip, dollar or two.... they appreciate that. Don't be like the brits lol

If am ready on the island and going strat to tge hotel from home what Tim am I accepted...am told the treatment is different....see that when am going straight from the airport to tge hotel it's fine even when the rooms aren't ready we still have acess

Yes, they are not at plentiful or as colorful, but there are there.

Did you book the charter bus through the hotel or you found it on your own?

To be honest. I found the prices of the hotel expensive. You can book it on your own to save money but then you have to go out outside of the hotel which can be a little dicey. For me, I’m familiar with the Caribbean so leaving the hotel to book it was not a problem. I strongly recommend you have strong negotiation skills if you decide to do it on your own. You also have to be careful because people will take advantage of you.

Question They sell weed on the beach but do people smoke on the beach? or anywhere around besides the cig smoking area?

Yes, you can buy marijuana from locals on the beach. However, I don’t believe they allow you to smoke marijuana openly on site. At least when I was there I didn’t see anyone openly smoking marijuana.

I believe it is. However, I had a lot of liquor, but I didn’t try the wine. I can’t imagine they would charge for it unless you get a entire bottle but even then I don’t think they would charge.

That is true! There is a good amount of fluctuation with the Jamaican dollar compared to US currency, which is far more stable and valuable.
