Haven't watched this yet but Cameron Boyce, the actor for Carlos, passed away a couple of years ago, a month before the final movie came out. In his 20 years he impacted a lot of ppl, and was a big part of a lot of peoples' childhoods, especially mine

I love descendants, it's far from perfect, but they're my comfort movies. Personally I think descendants 2 is the best, at least on the music front, and 3 is pretty great as well. I hope you'll watch those as well!

The kids of the villains were made up specifically for these films, but it does help to watch the movies to familiarize yourself with some of the main characters if you do decide to move forward with reacting to the Descendants sequels. Just a heads up, doing DCOM's means the majority of them are musicals, especially if based on the original fairy tale movies. Also, the scene where they stole the wand, Mal wasn't actually singing, it was in her head. Finally, remember these movies are made for tv kids movies - you can't be too critical of them.

Jay is Jafar's son, Jafar is from Aladdin. Carlos is Cruella De Vil's son and Cruella is from 101 Dalmatians. Mal is Malificent's daughter and Malificent is from Sleeping Beauty. Audrey is Aurora's daughter, Aurora is from Sleeping Beauty. Evie is the Evil Queen's daughter and the Evil Queen is from Snow White. Ben is Belle and The Beast's son, from Beauty and the Beast. So yeah it's better to watch this after watching the originals. 🤣 EDIT: Also, a King or Queen can step down. It's not only dying that relieves you of the crown.

Imma say before you get into it SEQUELS (the third movie came out just before the boy who played Carlos died I knew him for a while as Luke from the Disney channel TV show Jessie he had a massive crush on his babysitter and I think his character was about 12 so it's been a hot minute since that show was on but yeah he apparently had a seizure condition and he died having one overnight at the house he shared with the boy who played his adoptive brother in that Disney channel TV show he was only 20 and that's why there's only three of these movies I don't think they felt right about making a fourth without him) why didn't f*** are you even watching it if you don't know what it's about it's based on a book series somebody wrote the Disney decided to do a dcom on which is a Disney channel original movie it's as if all the Disney princesses were around at the same time. And they all had children and the villains all had children and survived their respective movies I actually was going to write a fanfiction that was pretty similar to this but also bringing in something from the dcom princess protection program so basically my original fanfiction idea before this came out was essentially something based around the movie princess protection program but it's going to be all the modern Disney princesses like the descendants of those royals that we knew through all the movies but then I started hearing theories about how some of them are possibly related so I was like I think I need less characters than I originally thought I did so I was trying to figure out how many of them were related before I started writing and then before I could do that I found out about this series happening
