When Hope was sucking his blood and the sky turned red that was Hope turning in to the full tribrid and activating her vampire side. Before it was just her witch and werewolf side active. Now that she has all three she is truly the most powerful being. And an actual tribrid now. So you literally just witnessed the most badass scene in all of legacies.

@@drewethan2023 It’s better than season 2 and 3 but I think overall, season 1 is still the best. The only good things (for me at least) about season 4 is Hope and Lizzie. The rest of the stuff has been weird (super squad stuff, the limbo arc is awful, and Josie’s exit). I think the show is enjoyable, but there’s no way it will be on the level of TO and TVD. The don’t even feed of vampires.

I am such a fan of the Gemini covens and twins. I do love me some dark Josie and will missed the aspect of that character and all of Josie’s growth. I am totally lookin forward to heretic Lizzie and there better be a difference with the extreme version of her personality due to vampirism , we need to earn the growth Caroline had when she became a vampire from a human.

Recap and spoilers so you can understand it (including from S4, TO and TVD when relevant) Hope DID kill Alaric but indirectly. He was left with such serious injuries that he was comatose for a few days before dying. The girl Cleo was pretty much forced to become Malivore's servant as a child (she's a witch and a muse) and their dynamic over the course of centuries shares a few similarities to Klaus and Katherine (if Katherine had been a good person). There are actually a few parallels to Malivore and Klaus. Malivore is a clay creature that was created to eat monsters like dragons (eating someone immediately erases their existence from the collective conscious hence why they are new and nobody has heard of them before, people just don't remember monsters . Some actually met Klaus and reference him, like Ted the Necromancer does with Hope in this episode). -But like Klaus, he grew lonely and wanted more of his kind. He managed to impregnate a human woman and Landon is the result. He wanted Landon to be his vessel so he can conquer the world, as well as being able to do things like reproducing his actual species. He was made from combining the power of vampires, werewolves and witches, and that turns out to be the reason why she was born, she was the miracle child destined to defeat him. It's why despite everything, Klaus could produce a child and even part of why the loophole of vampire-hybrids exist, it was all for someone like Hope to be born. Living up to her destiny, activating her vampire side (she hadn't yet, she was transitioning this episode), and her relationship with Landon were mainly her storylines for the first 3 seasons and people were very annoyed with that. But in all fairness, I do want to point out the connection Hope and Landon had. Both are the children of evil bastards meant to be the only ones of their kind and are also unique as a result, orphans who have found siblings that would die for them (believe it or not, but the twins, including Lizzie the blonde one have come to see Hope as their sister) and despite how eerily similar their circumstances are and how cute they can be, they are literally incompatible on a fundemental level as he's Malivore's son. Kaleb, the one who was spitting actual fire, used to be a normal vampire but Malivore turnt him into a vampire-dragon hybrid. He and Ethan were the only ones to keep their powers presumably because they were the only ones to get them directly from Malivore himself. What Ethan turnt into, is still a mystery. Lizzie has jealousy issues when it comes to her dad and Hope, because Alaric being a surrogate father to Hope often made him forget his actual twin daughters who; because Caroline is often on bussiness and research travel, are only left with each other and developped codependency issues as a result. Just when everything was finally okay, Hope killed him. Obviously, Lizzie tried to kill Hope but she couldn't because Hope is still like family to her. Hope killed Lizzie after she got her guard down by pretty much using the special promise she and the twins developped (kind of like the Mikaelson's Always And Forever vow), but Lizzie made sure to drink vampire blood before so Lizzie will be a vampire now too. Caroline's daughters are actually very special kind of witches who can keep their magic when they become vampires, a hybrid species known as 'Heretics'. They can keep their magic, because they are parasite-kind of witches who need to drain a supernatural of their magical force because they don't have magic of their own and upon becoming vampires, they pretty much feed upon their own vampire energy for magic. But they can also feed on things like wolf bites, spells from opponents and can drain other supernaturals of their magic until killing them. There is a limit to how much magic they can drain, but we don't know Lizzie's. So whilst behind on Hope, she's still pretty close in power level. Considering the promo for next episode has both of them alive, I can imagine Lizzie's epically pissed about Hope having killed her but neither of them are going to die that episode. They'll probably end up having a similar sibling dynamic as the Mikaelson siblings had, and I'm here for it. The Super Squad's other unique supernaturals are Wade (the chubby guy with glasses) who is actually a fairy. He's also an orphan and he speculated Malivore could have eaten his parents. Rafael turns out to be a descendant of King Arthur and he has Excalibur. He was fatally injured in a way they couldn't fix at the moment so they created an alternative dimension where the world is replicated but no human is in it where he could live until they found a solution, alongside his birth parents whom didn't knew being a werewolf was hereditary and and his mom thought she was giving him a better live by giving him up and they're just enjoying family life. The actor moved onto a different project, you see? But he still returns when he can. Like the episode before this one, we saw him again as Hope pretty much asked for permission to kill his brother Landon. The actress of Josie also moved onto something different, with her starring in a movie that started shooting somewhere this past December. She also had an open exit, as she went alone on the bus to find Hope who's still missing (though Lizzie obviously found her) and implied also to find herself. She and Lizzie had this tearful goodbye in the moment where Lizzie was dead and hadn't woken up as a vampire in transition yet. So she could also return and we've seen that as Dark Josie, she actually is powerful enough to hold her own against Hope too. And everyone slowly becoming more unique has its reasons, because we're actually getting into Gods now. The Squad has found someone implied to be an injured God, and the promo is directly talking about Gods. Hope is so fucking powerful, that in order for her obstacles to be challenging and hard, she has to go up against actual Gods. Now that's a legend. So obviously, her Squad cannot be regular vampires, witches and werewolves, they need extra abilities if they want to keep up with Hope and the villains she's facing. Legacies is in that regard a good show. A lot of these characters have parrallels with each other and the previous generations and feel like family to each other, from the twins and Hope being like sisters, but even the less obvious things like Lizzie driving in the Sherrif's car when they were in the prison world being a nod to Caroline's mom having been the Sherrif of Mystic Falls or the dynamics between Hope, Lizzie and Josie as siblings sharing similarities with the Mikaelson siblings. But Hope's a fucking unicorn, so this show decided to just up the scales and introduce monsters to make her journey more difficult and once she was an experienced monster slayer, had became a full Tribrid and slain Malivore, only the Gods and a villain from Klaus' days or two feel like they are up to challenging Hope. She's 100% THAT bitch.

I’m so glad you decided to watch legacies and Landon is not a vampire he is human but you do find out that he’s a Phoenix I think hope doesn’t need training I think it’s to relieve anger or to just make her better, when Raphael kills his girlfriend it was an accident. You learn further on in the season that mg is a ripper like Stefan. Hope hasn’t died yet so hope has not triggered her vampire side yet, Landon did not kill everyone on the bus a dragon did who was looking for the knife who you thought belonged to klaus which it does not. In the episode you watched hope just triggered her vampire side and is in transition and needs blood which Rick gave her so she could take on malivore who is in landon’s body because they are related because malivore is landon’s father. Kaleb is a fire breathing vampire because malivore gave him the ability of breathing fire. Hope turns off her humanity because killing Landon was to much for her because she had already lost everyone else

I've watched all seasons of Legacies but it's definitely no match for "The Originals" 🤣 I find it funny how Lizzie thinks she can somehow end Hope. Like Hope is one of the first born Mikaelsons, her grandmother created dark magic, her father being Klaus and her mother was an alpha. I don't see how Lizzie can defeat Hope.

You clearly didn't watch the show properly, because dark magic was already around before the Mikaelsons. Also, its clear you didn't watch TVD or didn't properly pay attention, because even Matt has killed an Original, and Lizzie is also an apex predator as a heretic. Heretics are immune to pretty much anything except for Malivore, and they can kill other supernaturals by draining their powers. That is a offensive ability Hope does not have, the only offensive ability she has that Lizzie would be weak to is being that as an original she has a superior physiology over normal vampires and heretics, but they actually are pretty well matched. Lizzie only needs physical contact to siphon Hope. There's a limit to siphoning so we don't know if Lizzie could kill Hope this way, but even if not, Hope would be left vulnerable and weak whilst Lizzie would be super powerful. Perhaps if you paid at least bit of attention to the previous shows you are aware of the old threat of 'being burried alive in cement and then dropped into the ocean'? Lizzie's powers would allow her to do that to Hope. Hope's a Tribrid in a realistic sense now, not the Mary Sue The Originals created, I'll admit that. The Originals did a REALLY bad job at portraying them in comparison to how they were established in TVD, they were super powerful and had grown to understand humanity in a way more akin to gods but they weren't actually gods and could be killed by even a human with the right opportunity and weapons. The Originals really raised the stakes in their villains, and that should be happening in supernatural TV shows just like Legacies is doing by introducing gods to the show because Hope and her friends are at the top of the food chain now. However, in TO's case, they somewhat nerfed the 3 supernatural factions, for example Papa Tunde seemed to be a very powerful witch who literally could work with a bone of the Hollow yet he was barely a character, and I can name plenty of other characters from the 3 factions whom were powerful enough that in TVD, they definitely could have stood a chance or find a different way to take the Mikalesons out if they had banded together with Elena and her friends. In TO, they were bowing begrudgingly at the Mikaelsons feet. Legacies is depicting the Mikaelsons in the way TVD had them established, and thankfully tossed the retconning of TO out of the window.

I think you’ll enjoy watching the whole series. At least 2nd season (cause I gave up there). Everyone has their issues, I love Lizzie so much, she’s not bad. Hope’s not a vampire in the first seasons. And Caroline was never Alaric's wife. She’s just carrying his baby from another woman (sounds strange, but it’s magic, you know). 1st season for me was interesting. Every episode has a different monster + one main plot. And 2nd season for me was just ✨Sebastian✨. Something didn't work for me, so I stop watching. But who knows, maybe I give it another try one day.

@@blakeawake4958 The fourth season is better than season three by a mile, but it's not as good as any of the TO seasons. It still has major issues, namely, the limbo arc; the super squad stuff is getting old, and they killed the triad stuff off too easily. The best parts are Hope and Lizzie.

I recommend watching Teen Wolf. But instead of watching only first and last episode I would like to recommend watching Pilot, Season 6A finale and Season 6B finale (episode 10 and 20). It is important, because first part of season 6 is just the best season of Teen Wolf and watching finale is kinda important. There is everything what we've been waiting for in all previous seasons.

btw in case you didn’t know, to transition, you need to die with blood of a vampire in your system if you want to become vampire, so it’s a little different with hope because she was born with all three genes of each faction, but it’s as if all her life she’s had a vampire blood in her system. With a human, if you feed them vampire blood and they don’t die, within a day, the blood will just naturally leave their system. The difference with hope though, is that she was never fed blood, it’s just naturally in her because of Klaus’ gene, so it doesn’t leave after hours, it’s in her always, so she wasn’t born a vampire though, she needs to do the same basic rule of dying so it activates her vamp side!

So, this wasn't the S3 finale 3x16 (which MoviesInDepth did do in his Legacies vid), but the 4th episode of the 4th season (which had 20 episodes). However, this episode was written and filmed with the end of S3. Basically, S1 production went according to plan; S2 was ended early due to COVID arriving in spring of 2020 (so they moved four episodes from the end of that season to the start of S3); and then there were filming delays due to COVID and the network wanted to set things back on schedule so four episodes (what would have been 3x17-3x20) became the start of S4. So you got what was intended to be the S3 finale, but wasn't actually aired as such (at least in the US, I'm not sure what labels are given in other markets).

Love Hope! favourite character in the universe. There's issues with all the series in different ways and I think Legacies feels so different that you don't get exhausted watching it. It's a bit more fun and given current times I was here for that. But season 4... oh my god... I have been waiting years for this and I am not disappointed. Btw, have you done this with Supernatural, Buffy or Lost Girl? If do Supernatural I recommend watching the last 2 eps of s15 as the 'last' episode. One was the season finale, the other the series finale and you don't really get a sense of the journey without both.

Caroline isn’t married to alaric(twins dad), in season 6 Alaric’s original nearly wife was pregnant with his kids but because she was a witch from a special family,her family transported her kids from her to Caroline because Caroline was a vampire and the witch family wanted to be safe and it would work because they wanted to put the twins with someone who never grows old and would be able to protect them. So when Caroline gave birth she named one of them josette after their bio mum and Lizzie after Caroline’s mum. So when Stefan died at the end of the vampire diaries Caroline and Alaric raised their kids but not in a romantic way, we don’t see Caroline in legacies yet because she is finding something to stop the merge,( a supernatural thing that Lizzie and josie have to do where they basically merge but one of the weaker twins will die,it’s basically curse that was put on Lizzie and josies family ages ago,) by the way their original mum was killed by her psycho brother Kai who was trying to kill the twins on her wedding day but instead killed his sister. Hope this was a good explaination, because it took ages.

Landon always thought he was a human....but when he was accidentally killed by mg everybody found out that he is a phoenix .........later in the end he was kidnapped by triad were Clark ( big brother ) told him how malivor was created and then how he created Clark and then how he abandoned him so Clarke took revenge on him and melted him and then an industry named triad grew which used to catch monster and dump them into malivor but then it became corrupted ( i guess I choosed the right word) so Clark punished himself by jumping in it ..... after years he was suddenly sent out ...but he didn't knew why ....later he heard about rumours of a lady of coming outside of malivor pregnant ( she was forcefully pushed inside malivor ) and after years he found Landon ....so that made Landon a pheonix powers given to him by malivor and malivor's son But now Landon is humon because in season 2 he was killed by a weapon which can kill pheonix so he died but when necromancer bought him back his pheonix side was gone and only human side was left

In the first episode, Hope was just a werewolf and a witch she hadn't activated her Vampire powers yet. Landon is a phoenix and Malivore is his dad who is really evil and who kind of took over his body and the only thing that could kill malivore was the Tribrid so hope had to activate her vampire side that's why she was really weak at the start of the end of season three because she was in transition and then when she killed Landon so she wouldn't feel the pain of killing her boyfriend she turned off her humanity so she wouldn't feel anything. Also, I hated Lizzie at the start of the series and now I love her she's one of my favorite characters. Landon is dead the place he is in now is what you would call the afterlife where you could be stuck there or you can cross over into heaven. Did you also notice that Rafael wasn't in that episode he had to go somewhere otherwise he would die. also, Lizzie is in love with MG and Ethan and MG won't kill Ethan because Ethan is his best friend. Also, Caleb the dude with cool hair, he was being controlled by malivore and that's why Alaric had faith in him because he knew that Caleb wasn't actually evil Caleb is a vampire but he is also now part dragon.

Malibor was created by a witch, a vampire and a werewolf, to eliminate the existence of magical creatures, because in the other series only these three were seen and in this one more magical beings are explored. Although she was a trihybrid, her vampiric side had to be activated when she died, just like her wolf side was activated when she killed someone. only she could kill malibor because her blood was lethal to him, hence the sword.

Landon is a Phoenix, he can come back from death, but after Malivore possessed him he couldn't do it anymore. Also at the end Hope turned off her emotions, so she couldn't feel anything like guilt, regret, love(like a father) so she is honestly willing to kill him right then. She turned them off as soon as she did it, on accident but still. So the guy that you recognized was Alaric/Rick, He is not married to Caroline, Caroline at the end of Vampire Diaries married Stefan, and he sacrificed himself right after their wedding, but Rick is the father of the kids, he was getting married to another woman, a witch and she died, as a last act to save their children- the twin girls they put them into a body that wouldn't die- Caroline's, so she is their mother, she gave birth to them and raised them but they are not originally her children. She basically was Supernaturally inseminated.

Kind of hard to do one tree hill with first episode and last lol. The first episode has Lucas, Peyton, Nathan, Haley, Mouth and Skills BUT no Brooke she didn't come in till the 2nd episode and the last episode of OTH does NOT have Lucas and Peyton. So the only growth that you'll really see is Nathan and Haley pretty much lol.
